V8 power with amazing handling - one of the most enjoyable I have driven.

Styling, handeling and performance of this vehicle is excellent. surprising comfort and a joy to drive. this vehicle will bring lots attention. only down side is vehicle is very difficult to work on and parts are expensive,and not readily available.

Performance - fast, OK braking, handling? It's a lotus. Build Quality - It's a classic car and needs reasonable TLC Appearance - interior like a 70s lounge, exterior styling by giugiaro and feels like driving a sculpture... Cost of Ownership - good but it's an 80s sypercar and you need to know this vis-a-vis maintenance. not as expensive as a TVR, Ferrari or Lamborghini Fun Factor - brilliant: and it breathes fire on the down-rev! Quick, turbo, fun! Delightful handling and very very eager to go as fast as it can... An absolute classic.

This was one of the best cars I have ever owned and driven since. It handled like it was on rails and went 0-100 in less the 5 sec. Great sounding engine and a pleasure to drive. Build quality was not that hot but hey you can't have everything.

This car is basically the cheapest super-car you can buy. It's fairly reliable as supercars go. You can actually maintain this car fairly in-expensively due to Lotus' use of GM and Toyota parts to assemble the car. As an example -- front wheel bearings are from a 1984 Toyota Celica and only cost $28/set.
