Performance came from the 5.3 V12 and is not fast by todays standards but was one of the fastest cars on the road when it was made. It can however still be tailhappy if you're not carefull. It had power steering which helped because it was a very big car with a huge long bonnet. It was incredible to drive.

this is a magnificent car its the most beautiful ever made and its fast to be old its beautifully done its amazing to drive but is really expensive to maintein but you never mind wen you have those look of a car especially on a twisty road

I liked everything about my 62 e-type coupe...the sound of her pulling hard through 2nd and 3rd gears, the profile, the attention I got...I was 24 driving an E-Type in 1964.
