A rebranded Trailblazer EXT or Envoy XL. Drives great, is cheap, and is easy to service with lots of options for aftermarket parts.

I would recommend this SUV to anyone. Great mid-size SUV. Plenty of interior space. We haul camping gear and have room to spare. Good power from a V-6 engine and not too bad on gas either. It has a towing package for a small trailer or camper. I've owned it for 2 years and have had no problems. Regular oil changes, coolant and trans change...no other work done on it. It has a timing chain - not a wimpy belt that needs changing every 100k miles. My Isuzu has 86k miles and there is nothing wrong with it and it still looks great as well.

isuzu is no longer in the usa.its nice but there are no isuzu dealers by me so i have to take it 70 miles away for any kind of work if it ever needed any over all it is a good suv

the inline 6 generates 275 bhp and thats only about 30 less than the 7 passenger V8s and better gas mileage. It has good handling for an SUV of its size. some of the parts on it are cheaply made picked off of other GM models like the trailblazer and the envoy but the engine and related parts work well. not a very pretty vehicle but, few SUVs are.

The ascender is a roomy vehicle the problem with the fuel gauge has been the only problem with this vehicle. Once you fill the tank, the gauge goes to empty turning on the fuel low light. once some of the gas is burned it fluctuates between 1/4 and empty.
