This truck was in pristine condition, exactly what I was after in a vehicle. I passed on it because the asking price was pretty much what it was worth new in 2015. I have a hard time paying that kind of money for a 11 year old truck.

Besides the bells and whistles we grabbed this dually because we pull a toy hauler. We went from a sturdy 2500 Dodge Ram to this beauty. We choose the dually 3500 due to the pulling capacity and payload as toy haulers are heavier in front to compensate for the weight that you can put in the back. We have no issues pulling it now and the truck does not squat because the support of the 4 tires. Other friends have regular 3500 and still have issues with the payload and had to put in more money into their vehicle to beef up the suspension when pulling a toy hauler because the payload is less. YOU WONT REGRET BUYING ONE!

Why it stands out
The 2024 GMC Sierra 3500HD stands out as a heavy-duty truck that blends serious work capability with a more polished feature set than its basic job-site image might suggest. For 2024, it received a slight styling refresh that updated the front fascia and headlights, and it also gained a larger 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen and a digital instrument panel on the SLE trim and above. The truck’s towing-focused technology also expanded, with enhanced adaptive cruise control, a weight limit monitor, and a transparent trailer camera view joining the lineup.
Capability remains the Sierra 3500HD’s defining trait. In its most extreme configuration, it can haul as much as 7,442 pounds of cargo and tow up to 35,500 pounds, and those figures require the diesel engine, a single cab body, rear-wheel drive, a gooseneck hitch, and dual rear wheels. The 2024 turbodiesel also received a power bump to 470 hp and 975 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can still choose from a wide range of cab, bed, and axle configurations, while the available trim ladder stretches from a work-oriented base model to the luxury-focused Denali Ultimate, which adds features such as adaptive cruise control, cooled and massaging front seats, a digital rearview mirror, and a sunroof.
That breadth is part of the Sierra 3500HD’s appeal: it can be configured as a stripped-down work truck or as a highly equipped luxury hauler. The 2024 model also offers useful standard and available safety equipment, including forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and a teen driver mode. Its main tradeoff is size and cost, since the truck can be unwieldy in parking lots and the top trims can become prohibitively expensive.
