What people are saying:

4.3

The GMC Sierra 2500 has built a solid reputation for its robust performance and reliability over the years. Owners appreciate its impressive power and towing capabilities, making it a strong contender for those needing a tough workhorse. Many drivers also highlight its build quality and spacious interior. However, fuel economy remains a common concern, with numerous reviews pointing out that it tends to consume more gas, whether loaded or empty. Solid truck. I can see why it was so popular. Plenty of power for towing and hauling. I have the SLE 5.7 liter ext. cab, long bed. motor is damn near bulletproof even after 200K. Gas useage is not so great but for a 34 year old truck Its just a tad off from the original miles per gallon. Mine is still in great shape and if I could buy another one new off the line I would.

I liked the off road capabilities, the power, the size, durability, space, and appearance as well as the alpha presence on the road. the seating is also very nice with the back seat being able to fold up for more cargo space.

Race truck under const. Performance: Rebuilt original 1976 454 big block, converted for propane. Dual 450 mixers with dual 4bbl Holley base plates. New TH 400 tranny with a racing shift kit. Soon to be installed: MSD racing/work ignition, either a posi-trac or locker diff, ceramic coated headers. Either Stop-tech big truck brakes or Willwood brakes. Truck pushes above 600 horse. Suspension is so tight that it handles like a import, and if i striped its guts to lighten it up, it would take corners like a audi. Paint is over 10 years old, need i say more? Truck runs on propane, 60cents a litre..... Amazingly fun to drive, so load, so fast, so old, so respected.

404000 km and still running, great truck build solid, sucked gass but was still better then my audi with the same size tank. great work truck no good for off roading but great for burn outs with the big 5.7 litre engine. awsome highway and towing vehicle not so good in the city.
