I think that anyone who saw this car would agree that it was a pretty car with practical interior including the fact that one could sleep in the back when the seats were rolled down. My wife and I often went on longish trips, and sometimes needed a place to rest - this was it!!. Fuel consumption was fair if one drove with a light accelerator foot. Road-holding was good for a Station Wagon, and seats were very comfortable

It has worked fine as long as I have got it, just some small repairs that I been forced to do.. The engine could be a little bit more powerful. The soundsystem is pretty good but it could also be better. I dont drive som much with it because of todays gasprices, but it is always fun to go out and drive now and then.

This is by far the most sympatic car I have had. When I was borne this Ford was 18 years old. That is older than many cars in the trafic today. Now at 57 years of age it still fires up on request and runs with no problems (mostly on a good day).

Ford Taunis 3000 Ghia: It was just plain comfortable, nice aubergine color, sunroof, tinted windows, nice upholstry, independent 4 wheeel suspension, real wheels and tyres. Standard automatic gear box, the worst car I have ever had/bought. But in those days it looked impressive.

i bought this coupe gt taunus from my friends sister for 150 euros. it was all rusted out and i was going to use it to welding training. someone had cut off the rear panel and made new one with volkswagen scirocco tail lights. too bad all of the mods were made out of body filler. i welded new floors, renewed brakes, renewed interior and got the 2.3 V6 running. i sold it to a taunus enthusiast who reworked the modifications on the rear and painted the car and it's now back on the streets
