If you are lucky enough to own one of the original 460 Interceptors, (which at the time, you had to have local law enforcement sign for) you have a nice, fast and rare ride. It rides good- it will not handle like a sportscar, but it's in the last decade of real full size cars that Detroit put out.

Bought it from the original owner in August of 1986. At the time it had only 42 thousand miles. Owner said he had a car to drive that the company he worked provided so the car spent a lot of time in the garage. Spent about 3600 bucks on the body, interior and suspension. Repainted in original color in 1994. New brakes in 1989, had difficulty finding front brake hoses for a car with disc brakes. Engine has never been down and uses no oil between changes. A/C still works. Fun to drive and turns heads every time I hit the street.

Performance- really good Build quality - had awesome build quality, lasted 25 years no problem Apperance - sexy shape and had the best stripes Cost of ownership - very expensive on fuel but it was worth it Fun Factor - had fun everytime i drove it

Sky Blue with a half white vynil top. With only 60,000 miles, and a 351 optional engine. (302 was basic)
