mid year redo with high revving free breathing engine, 5 spd od trans, lots of aluminum...2020 lbs wet, 150 advertised hp, thought to be 15+% more, marginal handling on tall, narrow bias tires, pretty good stopping with dual piston jaguar discs on front and 1 1/2 x 10 inch drums in rear. true roadster, windshield comes off with 4 bolts, soft top is gone with 12 snaps and 2 nuts. body panels are about as thick as hd tin foil, dent and rust like crazy, no liner panels or sound insulation.

This was a great 60's roadster from Japan. Sized similar to an MG or Triumph of the day. This roadster had incredible handling ability, making it highly sought after by many SCCA racing drivers of the day, including Bob Sharp of Datsun 510 fame.

This is the most fun car I have ever driven. Power is awesome, it will smoke the street tires well into 3rd gear. As for being fast, well fast is a relative thing. Its geared short so it tops out about 120 mph or so, but through a corner with the race tires on, oh boy, fun stuff. Some day it will get paint, and will look great, for now however its function over form.

bought for $200 and sold with no engine for $400 and holes in the floor board. loved this car
