This car has an amazing amount of get up and go. I was following my brother in his 2006 VZ Commodore and he was unable to hold his speed nor gain a huge amount of distance over me on a quick race through some back streets. Overall impressed with its fuel economy too, running at around 8 litres/100kms, even if you do thrash it. Country driving see's it get down to around 6.5-7 with a total klm's from the tank at 750 km

I was really surprised by this car. I bought it used at 4 years old and 17k miles, and I've driven it for three years and up to 84k miles. It still purrs, it hasn't need much maintenance or significant repairs, it handles and accelerates well, the AC still works great, and the gas mileage has remained low. The brakes have squeaked for a couple years, and the pop-out cup holders under the cd player rattle if they're out and there's nothing in them. Still, the brakes stop really well and everything is still strong in the car. Those are minor. I personally have grown really attached to the car, like it's a friend. I enjoy driving it, it's cheap to own, and I love looking at the grill as I walk up to it. I was recently in an accident, and I'll be sad to let this one go once I find another.

Enormous load space. Does it's job without fuss. Handling was barge like, performance won't set your world on fire, but ownership costs are low and I managed 40,000 miles until the suspension went AWOL. Cost £125 to put right, then I sold it for the almost same as I originally paid for it.
