I am having a full paint job on it. I have a Rough Country 4 Inch lift on it, so the ride is good. No noises except its loud engine, and exhaust. I had it in my garage for about a year before I started to do anything to it. Then all summer and winter I worked on it and worked and worked. I haul with it but the gas mileage before i worked on it was about 15mpg to 19mpg after i worked on it, when not hauling I get 22. I have used Kelley's Blue Book to look up what it cost before I worked on it, that was 3,511 dollars. Now that i worked on it I have put 8,000 dollars in it. I am crazy right to put that into a 1992 truck with my 350 in it. But acceleration is perfect no hesitation I drag race with it so i need no hesitation. Braking good and handling okay I have better steering than stock. It is a Very fun truck to drive, wouldn't drive anything else.

The C/K 1500 Series was the name for Chevrolet's full-size pickup-truck line from 1962 until 1998 (and GMC's full-size pickup line from 1962 to 1988). The first Chevrolet pickup truck appeared in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930.
The “C“ trucks had two-wheel drive, while the “K“ models had four-wheel drive. The C/K light-duty pickup was replaced by the Chevrolet Silverado in 1999; the Chevrolet Silverado HD heavy-duty pickups followed in 2001.
