Something about cruising a beautiful old Chevy makes you feel like you are on top of the world. When people looked at you it was more staring at you until you get out of sight. You can open the foot vents and angle the vent windows, and get this great breeze blowing throughout the entire cab, features not available on any new car. Half the neighborhood wanted to go out cruising on a regular basis, and most even wanted to ride in the back to the swimming hole or just to get an ice cream. It was definitely a very popular vehicle to family friends and neighbors. It was like a fulfillment of a poor mans dream truck, and one sweet ride. Oh yes lets not forget another great thing about it, and that is working on it. I am no mechanic but I could rebuild this engine or any issue it could have. Every part is still available at cheap prices. If it has a solid body you can make it run and drive like new without costing an arm and leg. Certainly a piece of history well worth owning. Just make sure you only pay what it's worth and you won't loose money on a classic, antique, C-10 chevy, their value can only go up.

This one was my baby. A real show-stopper. The first summer that I owned it, I won multiple trophies with it. It had a very unique paint job that contained a heavy amount of huge metal flake. It looked like a bass boat.

Well. I drive a 70 C-10. Needs some work. But the motor is solid. Runs a 383 stroker combo'd with a Turbo 350 3 speed. Pushing 410 Horse with 470 Ft Pounds of torque. Moderate engine mods. Mostly bolt-on other than the machine work. Its a grandpa truck on steroids pretty much.
