Customers say
The Cadillac STS has earned a reputation for its luxurious ride, strong performance, and comfortable interior across its model years. Drivers consistently enjoy the power from both the V6 and V8 engines, as well as the smooth handling and sporty feel during drives. The elegant design and high-quality features also receive much praise. On the downside, some owners have noted cramped rear seat space, limited trunk capacity, and technological features that feel outdated. Despite a few concerns like fuel economy and maintenance issues, the STS is viewed positively as a stylish and enjoyable vehicle.

This is a true American icon. It is sexy enough for a night on the town and powerful enough to let you know you are driving a luxury sports car. For the money you can't do better than the Cadillac STS V8.

This car is very fun to drive and it still turns heads when it drives by. Highway driving couldn't be more smooth and relaxing. Almost feels like you're driving on a cloud with pillows surrounding you. The handling and performance is excellent and in the 7 years I've owned one it has never been in the shop for any major issues, just routine maintenance. A great buy.

So far, I've had the car for a little over a month and completely floored by it. It has great pick-up, great looks, and wonderful amenities. The Bose sound system is simply wonderful. It's a blast to drive the only con I've found is that the NorthStar loves to go through gas. Roughly 18 MPG. I've had a few electrical quirks, but with Cadillac's I've come to expect it.

I've loved my 2005 STS v8 from the day I bought it. Great Ride for a long commute. Ventilated seats are a must in the Florida Heat! This car renewed Cadillac style for a younger generation. I have owned three Cadillacs and look forward to owning more.

Overview
The lone Cadillac with the palindrome for a model name got its start in 2005 as the successor to the Seville. This luxury sedan has 4 doors and seats 5. In addition, the STS has always offered a V6 and V8 powertrain.
Like any good stock portfolio, the Cadillac STS emphasizes diversification. Trims have expanded from a simple V6 and V8 in '05 to increasing variations on both powertrains as well as the stronger STS-V.
As of 2007, the STS offers 3.6 L, 255 hp V6 and 4.6 L, 320 hp V8 powertrains. Expect exterior changes and other adjustments for 2008 and beyond.
