• Infotainment: BMW Curved Display with a 10.25-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by BMW Operating System 9 (iDrive 9), plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Which BMW X2 trim should I buy?

The 2024 BMW X2 offers these trims:

• xDrive28i: The entry version brings standard all-wheel drive, the BMW Curved Display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Active Driving Assistant; it suits you if you want the core X2 experience with strong tech and safety equipment.
• M35i: This higher-performance trim adds the more powerful engine and M Sport treatment standard, along with a more athletic setup for shoppers who want the most performance-focused X2.

What BMW X2 do most buyers choose?

The BMW X2 years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2019.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choices, which can make it easier to compare prices, equipment, and condition. They also tend to be the years shoppers return to most often because inventory is deeper and deal opportunities are easier to find.

What is the BMW X2's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the model years listed, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. Several years have posted double-digit declines, while the smallest drop is still meaningful. The 2020, 2018, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the BMW X2 safe?

• 2018: 7/10

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Both versions of the X2 have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and the xDrive28i makes 241 horsepower from 4,500 to 6,500 rpm and 295 pound-feet of torque between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm.
• Tech: The BMW Curved Display houses a 10.25-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by BMW Operating System 9 (iDrive 9), and the standard BMW Live Cockpit Plus setup includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
