"The deal I received from Kimberly was RAW. They had the $12,900 truck listed as $5800 below book when it was only worth $10,000 in the first place according to NADA with its condition. I TRUSTED them over their pics and word of mouth because I was 200 miles away and I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I should've went elsewhere. I DID happen to catch the crushed in bumper in the back of the truck from the pics that they said they never saw and Kimberly agreed to take $350 off the price so it could be replaced so supposedly all was good everyone's happy. BUT, When I got there, they were to eager to get me to sign all the papers and make payment other than showing me my truck and seeing all the following..
(1) - They said there were NO dents or rust. But it had 4 dents that they failed to point out and the rear fenders, tailgate and hood corners where there was rust all around bubbled under the paint that you could push your finger through. It was wet sanded and sprayed over with clear coat that was also full of fish eye from not being cleaned thoroughly or applied properly. They said it had NEVER been smoked in. When I opened the ashtray, It was full of cigar and cigarette butts and had burns all over the seats, carpet and console and had some kind of cheap air freshener packets in the door pockets that made it smell like a burnt down cherry farm. As I was on the way home with it I noticed it was out of alignment to the point the steering wheel was way off center, The brakes were shot, the radio speakers were blown and when I opened the ash tray, cigar an cigarette butts fell all over the floor of this said smoke free truck. They could at least cleaned the ashtray if they were going to lie about it. I was somewhat afraid to turn on the AC, I had a LONG way to go to get home.
(2) After Jason Speed read and zipped through all the paperwork and got my cash, I had noticed that there was no more interest in me just hurry up and get out. I know that I should have read each and every line on the contract that he was pushing on me but I dident, and because I dident read it word per word for myself then, when I got home and looked it over because something dident seem right with the total price, I noticed at the bottom of the bill of sale he had added and charged me with this $400 Protection Plus plan that I had absolutely no information on and he never ask if I wanted this or explained what exactly it was. It was just automatically added to the contract. I am guessing to cover the $350 that they took off from the crushed bumper plus a $50 bonus. When I looked it up online and found out it was a used car dealer ripoff ordeal, I called Jason and ask for info on this super protection plan because at that time I was thinking that I already had a year of Full Coverage Insurance. BUT instead I got no clear answer other than It was mandatory in case it got stolen or a window got busted out or it blows up before it was paid off, He said this is mandatory for ALL used cars. BUT. Even my insurance company said it was nothing more than a ripoff because I have to keep full coverage on it until its paid off anyway and this alone will cover whatever this Protection Plus is and that is IF you could even get anybody to answer a phone over there in Hong Kong or where ever this crook is located. SO I got screwed because I trusted them. NEVER AGAIN. SO. If you buy a used vehicle from Kimberly Car City, Make sure you look it over REAL good and look at the bottom of the bill of sale and make sure you dont have that amazing super expensive useless $400 PROTECTION PLUS bull.
Other than that!!! It was a good day."
