Customers say

The BMW M2 has consistently impressed owners with its exhilarating driving experience and robust performance across all model years. Drivers rave about the car's agility, power, and sporty handling, making it a favorite among enthusiasts who appreciate a true 'driver's car'. While many appreciate the quick response of the dual-clutch transmission, some have pointed out minor drawbacks such as turbo lag at low RPMs and a lack of steering feel. Overall, the M2 is viewed as a fantastic blend of performance and everyday usability, perfect for both thrilling drives and regular commutes.

What a fun car! Quick, tight, sporty, comfortable, and really good looking… it checks all the boxes. Even though it’s already 8 years old, it doesn’t feel outdated. There is just enough technology to keep it modern, and the analog gauge cluster nods to the performance side. I immediately missed a coolant temp gauge, however That’s just something I’ve gotten used to keeping an eye on. The N55 has plenty of power for a middle-aged enthusiast who spends most of his drive time in traffic and has never been on a track. It’s an impressive little machine.

Aside from the aftermarket spoiler that was put on this car (just not my taste), the M2 was made for people who love to drive. Even without the manual gearbox, it checks almost every other box youd want in a great driving experience. Steering lacks a little bit of feel, but other than that its hard to beat the throttle response and sonorous music coming from under the hood.

Fast and just plain fun to drive. More tech than the older model M2 with lines similar to other late model BMWs. The 6 speed manual on this model adds more control and driving thrills for those with more traditional sensibilities.

The M2 is an enthusiasts car. Minimalist, but just nice enough on the interior. The performance and handling is magnificent. Steering is the only gripe, but as far as electrically assisted systems go, its one of the better ones on the market. The Dual Clutch transmission is lightning quick, but if you prefer to row your own gears the manual is serviceable albeit just above average in feel as far as manuals go. Nice thing is you dont lose too much acceleration choosing the manual and its much more engaging to drive that way. Overall this car is an absolute joy to drive.
