1991 Acura NSX STD Coupe Review
by Fred

still run great

performance- great handling, OK straight line speed Build Qual - Solid, Honda reliability Appearance - Still get attention CO- 25mpg+ maintenance is $$ but you dont have to do much. just standard oil change timing belt . Fun factor - its fun. but with Tanabe springs and Koni shocks it is a rougher ride.

Avg. Dealer Rating: (26 reviews) "Requested previous "one owner" contact to ask questions salesman couldn't answer. Asked salesman about most recent oil change(s), etc. He said all of the info I needed to know was on the "Very thorough" AutoCheck report, and I didn't need to talk with the previous owner. Not! If that were the case the last oil change was 20,000 miles ago. Made 1-1/2 hour trip to negotiate the sale. Salesman said he couldn't make it because he had a flat tire???? Another salesman helped me. I showed early so that I could start up the car myself. A cloud of blue smoke turning carbon black, an indicator of coolant entering piston cylinders; probably a blown head gasket. I asked the salesman if he could have the dealers mechanics determine if they could fix the issue. He said they would and let me know. Never happened. Called back the following day. Salesman wouldn't be in til 2 pm?? Their professional "dealer check" lacks professionalism and\or follow through. Additionally, I asked for a different salesman who would try and answer my questions -- didn't happen. I went to another dealer, who not only answered EVERY question, but proactively alleviated my concerns. Result: Paid cash for the car. Buyer beware. Find a dealer who understands and practices a Total Customer Satisfaction culture."
