This is simply one of the best cars ever made. It is a no-holds-barred supercar, but very driveable day-to-day. The handling is absolutely telepathic. Think it and the car does it. The 1991 model was the first--and lightest--NSX and it shows. There is no power steering because it simply isn't needed in a car this light. There are not enough superlatives to describe what a fabulous, head-turning ride this is. Interior space is tight for anyone over 6 feet, but it is superbly appionted with typical Acura attention to detail and quality. Acceleration is good and the sound of the transverse mounted V-6 right behind your head winding up to over 8000 RPM is a symphony that will keep you from even turning on the sound system. The car is amazingly easy to maintain, gets good mileage (26 MPG highway) and is quiet and comfortable enough to be a daily commuter. Recommended modifications are bigger wheels/tires, aftermarket brake rotors and lines, progressive (and lower) springs. The car benefits from some additional power and can easily handle a supercharger. Connecting rods are made of titanium for example. There is a cult following of this car even though production stopped in 2005. They hold their value well due to limited production and high quality. If you get the chance--buy one!

I have had this car for almost 4 years and still love it each time I get into it. It does sit rather low and can be difficult to get in and out of but very comfortable once seated. Great on the street and even better on the track. I installed a super charger giving it 420whp, upgraded the suspension, installed stoptech front brakes, aftermarket hood, and wheels.

Best car I have owned. Reliability is like any Honda. Very exclusive as only about 8000 of these were built with production ending in 2005. Used ones can be had in the $20's which is an incredible bargain--an exotic for the price of a Kia. There are some excellent owners groups and websites that help keep you going too.

This is Honda's/Acura's flagship model, while this car has been getting slammed reviews by people who like to magazine race, I would have to say drive one before making your final conclusion. The balance of this car is what makes it so amazing. The looks of this car has changed very minimally during the years of production but remember that this car was created in 1991 and it was way ahead of its time. The looks of a 1991 car can still hold its own in todays modern world. It may lack horsepower in todays standards however the power to weight ratio still makes this car relatively fast. The engine is a pure masterpiece as you take it all the way up to a dizzying 8000 rpm redline the engine sings with a deep growl that just brings a smile to yo0ur face. There is no car that feels like an NSX, the driving experience is just pure bliss and with Honda reliability you can rest assured that this exotic will live well over 200k miles of driving pleasure. Mine is at 110,000 miles at the moment and it still ticking like the first day I bought it. Sure its no new Ferrari in todays standards, but it definitely ranks with the rest of the Ferrari F355's, just cheaper to own and maintain.
