I've had several of these over the past 30 years. Unlike many of the unibody offerings from the Big Three, these AMC's do not have any body flex. The chassis engineer was really good! I've added fat front and rear sway bars and upgraded tires & wheels (not shown).

I actually own the twin to the Ambassador, the 1962 Rambler Classic. They did not give me the option of putting down Classic on the choices. It was the last car my Great-Grandpa ever owned. I hauled it up from Tennessee back in 1997. I hope to restore it someday.

i like my car i wish it was fuel injecked though. the acceleration is good it would be better if it was firing on all eight cyllenders. except for it needing a pant job and afew lil dints it looks perty good. it gets horrible gas around 8 or 9,maybe 12 on highway. yes this car is fun to drive always getting looks of "aww" and amasment and from time to time a annoyed look because its loud.
