New & Used 2026 Toyota C-HR for Sale nearLagrange, GA

Is the 2026 Toyota C-HR a good car?

The 2026 Toyota C-HR earns an expert rating of 7.00/10. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

It’s a fully electric compact crossover that prioritizes personality over practicality, and that framing matters if you’re shopping for an EV that’s meant to be entertaining rather than purely useful. The C-HR’s standard all-wheel drive and 338 horsepower give it quick, confident acceleration, while the chassis tuning makes it one of the better-handling EVs in its price range.

The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the charging setup is only mid-pack. Even so, the C-HR’s value proposition is strong for buyers who care more about driving enjoyment than maximum space.

Its 25.8% good-or-great deal share suggests there’s at least some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Toyota C-HR reliable?

The 2026 Toyota C-HR is positioned as a straightforward EV with standard all-wheel drive, a shared platform and battery setup, and a warranty package that includes battery coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles. ToyotaCare also covers routine maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles.

The performance setup is described as smooth and immediate, with no hesitation on acceleration, and the battery/charging system is designed to support both home charging and DC fast charging. Battery preconditioning also activates automatically when you route to a fast charger, which helps support more consistent charging behavior in the right conditions.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical complexity and more about whether the battery, charging habits, and warranty coverage line up with how the car was used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota C-HR?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that has spent a lot of time on DC fast charging. Focus on overall condition, charging equipment, and whether the battery and software-related features are working as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE and XSE differ in wheel size, exterior presentation, and cabin materials, and the XSE adds important safety and convenience upgrades that the SE does not get.
• Powertrain: The C-HR uses a dual-motor AWD setup with 338 hp, smooth immediate power delivery, and a performance-oriented chassis tune.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane-departure and lane-keep assists, automatic high-beam headlights, road sign recognition, blind-spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, and eight airbags. The XSE adds a surround-view monitor, traffic jam assist, and lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, OTA updates, and a fully digital driver display.
• Range & charging: The SE is estimated at 287 miles of range, the XSE at 273 miles, and DC fast charging can reach 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes under ideal conditions. A 74.7-kWh battery and an 11-kW onboard charger support home charging.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how often the car was fast-charged versus charged at home, and confirm how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2026 Toyota C-HR trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota C-HR is offered in 2 trim levels: SE and XSE.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the best-value trim if you want the C-HR’s core appeal at the lowest price. You still get the dual-motor AWD powertrain, the 14-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and the same basic fun-to-drive character as the pricier version.
• XSE: This is the trim to choose if you want the more complete version of the C-HR. It adds the larger 20-inch wheels, more upscale appearance details, and the safety-tech upgrades that include the surround-view monitor, traffic jam assist, and lane-change assist. If those features matter to you, the extra cost is easier to justify.

The safety-package gap between SE and XSE is meaningful, especially because the XSE gets the surround-view monitor and other driver-assistance upgrades that the SE lacks.

Is the 2026 Toyota C-HR safe?

The 2026 Toyota C-HR does not have published crash-test ratings from IIHS or NHTSA in the source data.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane-departure and lane-keep assists, automatic high-beam headlights, and road sign recognition. Blind-spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert and safe exit assist are also standard, along with eight airbags.

The main safety caveat is trim separation: the XSE gets a surround-view monitor, traffic jam assist, and lane-change assist, while the SE does not. If those features matter to you, the upgrade is worth a close look.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 25.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Expert or safety highlight specific to this year from the 2026 Toyota C-HR: it’s a fully electric compact crossover with 338 horsepower, standard all-wheel drive, and a fun-to-drive personality that stands out more for driving enjoyment than cargo space.

The bottom line: If you want the C-HR’s quirky styling, strong performance, and standard AWD, the 2026 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you should still shop the market closely and compare listings, because the value case is strongest when you find a well-priced example.
