New & Used 2026 RAM 2500 for Sale nearKennewick, WA

Is the 2026 RAM 2500 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 RAM 2500 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It is aimed at you if you need a heavy-duty pickup built for serious work rather than easy city driving. The overview describes it as big, expensive, and hard to park in urban confines, but also as a truck that is necessary for buyers who need stout powertrains and hard-working utility. The expert review backs that up with praise for its multiple cab and bed choices, powerful engine, and impressive towing and off-road capabilities.

The trade-offs are clear: advanced safety features are not standard, and it gets expensive fast. For shoppers who want a versatile heavy-duty Ram that can be tailored to different needs, that balance may still make sense.

36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a moderate amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2026 RAM 2500 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 RAM 2500 is presented as a truck built around durability and demanding use, with the overview emphasizing serious capability and hard-working utility. The expert review reinforces that theme by describing it as a heavy-duty truck designed to work hard, with stout powertrains and serious capability for buyers who need them.

The performance notes also support that dependability story: the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 is described as more-than-adequate, while the 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged diesel is called an extremely popular upgrade with massive torque for heavy hauling. The cost-effectiveness section also notes that the diesel requires a Crew Cab body and adds substantial cost, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is less about basic toughness and more about choosing the right configuration and budget for maintenance and purchase price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 RAM 2500?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck was used for towing, hauling, or off-road driving. Focus on wear items that can reveal hard use, and pay close attention to how the truck was equipped from the factory, since safety and convenience features vary by trim.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Tradesman is a no-frills workhorse with a plain matte plastic grille and black steel wheels, while the Big Horn adds chrome. Black Express adds a street-oriented look with a Sport Performance Hood, 20-inch black wheels, and black tubular side steps, while Warlock is aimed at the off-road crowd with decals, fender flares, 20-inch diamond-cut wheels, and all-terrain tires. Laramie brings the creature comforts, and Limited and Limited Longhorn add high-end leather interiors.
• Powertrain: The standard engine is a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 405 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The optional 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged diesel makes 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft of torque, and it is the better choice if you need maximum towing strength.
• Safety package: Adaptive steering, automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, and lane-keep assist are part of the Safety Group package. Blind-spot monitors with trailer coverage, pedestrian detection, and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on Power Wagon, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, and Limited Longhorn, but optional on Tradesman, Black Express, Warlock, and Big Horn. ParkSense parking sensors are optional on Tradesman, Black Express, and Warlock, but standard on all other trim levels.
• Infotainment: Tradesman, Black Express, Warlock, and Big Horn come with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Power Wagon, Rebel, and Laramie get a 12-inch unit, while top-shelf trucks have a 14.4-inch touchscreen. Uconnect 5 is standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and built-in navigation is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

The 2026 RAM 2500 is offered in 8 trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Black Express, Warlock, Laramie, Rebel, Power Wagon, Limited, and Limited Longhorn.

Here's the short version:

• Black Express: This is the street-oriented style play, with the Sport Performance Hood, black wheels, and black tubular side steps. It is a good fit if you want appearance and attitude more than off-road hardware.
• Warlock: This is the off-road-focused choice, with all-terrain tires, skid protection, hill descent control, and other trail-friendly hardware. It suits you if you want capability beyond pavement.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it brings the creature comforts most buyers expect without jumping straight to the top end.
• Rebel: This is another off-road-oriented option, positioned for buyers who want rugged character and capability.
• Power Wagon: This is the serious off-road model, with electronic locking front and rear differentials and a disconnecting front sway bar.
• Limited: This is the luxury pick if you want a high-end leather interior and a more upscale feel.
• Limited Longhorn: This is the other luxury flagship, with premium leather and a distinct high-end finish.

Blind-spot monitors with trailer coverage, pedestrian detection, and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on Power Wagon, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, and Limited Longhorn, but optional on Tradesman, Black Express, Warlock, and Big Horn.

Should I buy a 2026 RAM 2500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds new Black Express and Warlock trim levels for broader style and off-road choice.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It is a meaningful upgrade with strong towing, off-road ability, and added refinement.
