New & Used 2026 Nissan Kicks for Sale near Lafayette, IN

Is the 2026 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2026 Nissan Kicks is a strong value-focused small SUV that emphasizes style, everyday usability, and a more polished package than before. It is part of the model’s second generation, which brought more power, a more stylish design, and a greater degree of driving sophistication. It also finally offers all-wheel drive, which makes it more appealing if you want extra traction without stepping up to a larger SUV.

The 2026 model uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, so it is still not a powerhouse. Even so, it is a meaningful improvement over the earlier setup, and the cabin is roomier than before with a larger second row, more comfortable seats, and improved cargo space. Nissan also gives it a practical mix of tech and safety equipment, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the base model, larger available touch screens on higher trims, and standard driver-assistance features such as brake assist, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Safety Shield 360.

For used shoppers, the market signal is favorable: 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2026 Nissan Kicks is presented as a practical, everyday small SUV that leans into value, efficiency, and usability. It keeps running costs in check, and its mix of standard tech and safety equipment makes it easy to live with.

There are still trade-offs to keep in mind. The transmission is a CVT, and the engine can sometimes produce an unrefined droning sound. For long-term ownership, that means you should pay close attention to how the drivetrain feels and sounds during a test drive, since those traits can matter more as mileage builds.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Nissan Kicks?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize an inspection of the drivetrain behavior, cabin wear, and any signs that the vehicle has seen harder-than-average use, especially if you plan to keep it for the long haul.

Should I buy a 2026 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

Choose the 2026 if:

• 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It was fully redesigned and offers strong value with an agreeable personality.
