New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE earns a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

That lines up with what you get here: a stylish, premium coupe-or-convertible package that feels upscale without trying to be the most extravagant Mercedes two-door. It’s also aimed at buyers who want a weekend getaway car that can still handle everyday driving, and the CLE 53 in particular is praised for its strong ride-and-handling balance.

The trade-offs are clear. Not much cargo space means practicality is limited, and premium pricing keeps it out of impulse-buy territory. You also need to account for the fact that some recommended driver-assist features aren’t standard.

With 33.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop carefully rather than rush.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE is presented as a well-equipped, premium model with a strong feature set and no crash-test results listed. Its performance hardware is substantial, and the expert writeup describes it as a car that should perform well in a collision given its equipment levels.

On the ownership side, the CLE 53’s powertrain and chassis setup are sophisticated, which usually means you should be especially attentive to maintenance history and wear items when shopping used. For long-term ownership, the main risk is that a high-end, high-performance coupe or convertible can be expensive to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a premium performance model where repairs can be costly. Focus on overall condition, evidence of careful ownership, and whether the car has the equipment you want, since some desirable driver-assist features are not standard.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLE 53 stands out with wider fenders, bigger wheels, a more planted stance, and a more aggressive AMG look than the standard CLE.
• Powertrain: It uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 443 horsepower, a 48-volt starter-generator, and 4Matic+ all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, high-beam assist, a driver-attention monitor, automatic parking, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, an exit warning system, and a surround-view camera system. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, active blind-spot monitors, intersection assist, automatic lane-change capability, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and MBUX voice control.
• Fuel efficiency: The coupe is rated at 20 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined, while the convertible is rated at 19/26/22 mpg city/highway/combined.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE is offered in 3 trim levels: CLE 300 4Matic, CLE 450 4Matic, CLE 53.

Here's the short version:

• CLE 300 4Matic: This is the value-oriented choice if you want the CLE’s style and premium feel at the lowest entry point. It’s the trim to consider if you care more about the design and everyday luxury than maximum performance.
• CLE 450 4Matic: This is the middle ground for buyers who want more power and a stronger all-around experience without jumping to AMG pricing. It should be the best-value pick for many shoppers who want a nicer balance of performance and cost.
• CLE 53: This is the enthusiast choice, with the strongest performance, the sharpest handling, and the most dramatic AMG character. It’s the one to buy if you want the most capable and most distinctive CLE.

Some recommended driver-assistance features are not standard, so check equipment carefully before you buy.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE safe?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE has no crash-test results listed, but it comes with a solid standard safety suite and additional driver-assistance tech available through a package.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, high-beam assist, a driver-attention monitor, automatic parking, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, an exit warning system, and a surround-view camera system. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, active blind-spot monitors, intersection assist, automatic lane-change capability, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, and evasive steering assist.

A key caveat is that true hands-free highway driving capability isn’t available, and some of the more desirable driver-assistance features are not standard.

Should I buy a 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It consolidates the coupe-and-convertible formula into a stylish, premium package with strong performance and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It offers a broader trim lineup and a compelling mix of style, acceleration, and luxury features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of Mercedes’ consolidated two-door formula, the 2026 CLE is the cleaner target. If you’re shopping more for variety and may find a better-equipped or better-priced example, the 2025 is worth a look, especially if you’re focused on value rather than the latest model year.
