New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA for Sale nearPoughkeepsie, NY

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA earns an 8.5/10 expert rating, and it is positioned as an entry-level fastback sedan with an electric powertrain that emphasizes range and technology. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Form and function, and Technology.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a smaller Mercedes that leans into comfort, premium materials, and a modern tech experience rather than outright speed. The cabin is described as quiet and finished with premium interior materials, and the technology is a clear highlight.

The trade-offs are just as clear: the base powertrain is underwhelming, the design may be polarizing, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, it looks best as a stylish, comfortable, tech-forward choice for shoppers who value refinement and convenience.

36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is presented as a comfortable, easy-to-live-with model with a quiet cabin and a ride that stays composed and confident. Its electric setup is described as smooth and quiet on the road, and the car’s technology is built around over-the-air updates, which helps keep features current over time.

The performance content also points to a two-speed transmission that helps balance low-speed acceleration with highway efficiency, and Mercedes says the car can charge quickly thanks to its 800-volt system. That combination supports the idea of a modern, low-drama ownership experience if you keep up with charging and software-related features.

Mercedes also expects the CLA to come with its standard 4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and complimentary roadside assistance. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s advanced systems and high-tech features may be more expensive to maintain or repair as it ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a car with more options or advanced driver-assistance features. Focus on overall condition, software behavior, and whether the equipment you want is actually present on the car you are shopping.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Rear-wheel drive CLA 250+ or all-wheel drive CLA 350 4Matic models are available at launch. The cabin emphasizes screens and premium materials, but the rear-seat window controls are simplified, and the illuminated grille and star-themed lighting details are part of the car’s more expressive design.
• Powertrain: The single-motor 250+ is rated at 268 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque, while the dual-motor CLA 350 4Matic makes 349 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The steel-sprung suspension is tuned for comfort, and the two-speed transmission helps with efficiency at highway speeds.
• Safety package: Standard driver aids include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking and traffic sign recognition. Active steering and lane change assist, automatic lane change, a 360-degree camera system and parking assist are available, so check whether the car you are considering has the safety equipment you want.
• Infotainment: The CLA uses a 10.25-inch driver display and a 14-inch center display with the fourth generation of Mercedes’ MBUX system and MB.OS. It supports over-the-air updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and navigation that can plan charging stops.
• Fuel efficiency: The single-motor CLA is rated at 492 miles on the WLTP cycle, and Mercedes says the car can go from a 10-percent to 80-percent state of charge in 22 minutes on DC fast charging.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is offered in 2 trim levels: CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4Matic.

Here's the short version:

• CLA 250+: This is the better-value choice if you want the CLA’s core strengths without paying for the extra power of the dual-motor model. It still gives you the quiet cabin, premium materials, and standout technology that define the car.
• CLA 350 4Matic: Choose this if you want the stronger performance and all-wheel drive. It adds more power and quicker acceleration, but the rest of the CLA’s appeal remains centered on comfort, tech, and refinement.

The standard safety package includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking and traffic sign recognition, while active steering and lane change assist are extra.
