New & Used 2026 Lexus TX for Sale nearShreveport, LA

Is the 2026 Lexus TX a good car?

The 2026 Lexus TX earns an expert rating of 7.00/10. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It stands out as a full-size three-row SUV with a roomy interior and a spacious third row, which makes it a strong fit if you need a large family vehicle. It also gives you three different powertrains, so you can choose the version that best matches your priorities. The trade-offs are clear: some of the technology has a steep learning curve, and the interior materials feel cheap for the class.

For shoppers who value space and flexibility over cabin polish, it remains a compelling option, and 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Lexus TX reliable?

The 2026 Lexus TX is described as a young model that has already established itself with a spacious interior and a stylish package. Its powertrain setup is broad, and the plug-in hybrid version is presented as smooth and quiet in operation, with no jerks or hiccups when switching between gas and electric power.

The performance notes also point to a comfortable ride, firm and linear brakes, and a suspension that soaks up bumps and potholes well, which supports confidence in day-to-day use. On the ownership side, Lexus includes complimentary maintenance for the first year or 10,000 miles, which helps early running costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the TX’s technology and cabin quality may be more frustrating over time than its mechanical behavior.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lexus TX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more technology. Focus on how the infotainment, steering-wheel controls, and driver-assistance features operate in real use, since those are the areas most likely to affect your ownership experience.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TX 350 comes in Base, Premium, Luxury, and F Sport Handling specs, while the 500h hybrid can be had in F Sport Performance Premium and F Sport Performance Luxury trims. The 550h+ plug-in hybrid is only available in the top Luxury trim. The base-level cabin is also where you’re most likely to miss some of the richer equipment and material upgrades found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: The TX offers multiple powertrains, including a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder setup and a plug-in hybrid system built around a 3.5-liter V6 and hybrid hardware. The plug-in hybrid is the most powerful version and is tuned for quiet, smooth driving, while the standard hybrid is described as the better choice if you want more handling focus.
• Safety package: Every TX gets Safety System+ 3.0, which includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, Lane Tracing Assist lane centering, lane departure warning with steering assist, traffic sign recognition, and Proactive Driving Assist. Hands-free driving is available via subscription, and some features are not standard on every trim.
• Infotainment: The TX uses a 14-inch color touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12.3-inch gauge cluster. Wireless smartphone integration is standard, but the system also relies on subscriptions for some connected features, and the controls can be confusing.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid is rated for 33 miles of all-electric range and 29 mpg combined once the battery is drained.

Which 2026 Lexus TX trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lexus TX is offered in 7 trim levels: Base, Premium, Luxury, F Sport Handling, F Sport Performance Premium, F Sport Performance Luxury, and Luxury.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point if you want the TX’s core space and flexibility without moving up the price ladder. It gives you the broad family-SUV formula, but it’s also the trim where you’re most likely to feel the gap in polish and equipment.
• Premium: This is the sensible step-up if you want a better-balanced ownership experience without chasing the highest-priced versions. It should be the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience without pushing you all the way to the top.
• Luxury: This is the trim to target if you want the most upscale version of the standard TX 350 lineup. It’s the right fit if you care more about a richer feature set than about keeping the purchase price down.
• F Sport Handling: Choose this if you want the sportier-looking gas model and are willing to trade some comfort-oriented focus for a more expressive setup.
• F Sport Performance Premium: This is the hybrid trim to consider if you want the performance-oriented hybrid setup with a more accessible equipment mix than the top hybrid version.
• F Sport Performance Luxury: Pick this if you want the most upscale version of the performance hybrid and are willing to pay for it.
• Luxury: The plug-in hybrid is only available in this top Luxury trim, so this is the one to buy if you want the 550h+ powertrain and the most complete equipment list.

Every TX gets Safety System+ 3.0, so you’re covered with the same core driver-assistance suite across the lineup.
