New & Used 2026 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearLongview, IL

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is a strong choice if you want a family hauler that prioritizes comfort, practicality, and easy driving. It uses a 3.5-liter V6, and Honda says it makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, while the lighter, more rigid unibody structure is meant to help the cabin stay quieter and feel more refined over time.

That setup fits the Odyssey’s core mission well: it offers seating for seven or eight and leans into convenience with features like CabinTalk, CabinWatch, a rear entertainment setup, Magic Slide second-row seats, wireless phone charging, and an 11-speaker audio system on upper trims. The tradeoffs are clear, though, since it does not offer all-wheel drive or a hybrid version, and some rivals provide more storage versatility.

For used shoppers, the market signal is still encouraging: 41.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is built around a familiar formula that emphasizes durability, comfort, and everyday usability. Honda’s lighter, more rigid unibody structure is intended to support a quieter cabin and fewer rattles and squeaks over time, which is the kind of detail that matters when you plan to keep a family vehicle for years.

It also comes with a strong safety and convenience package, including the Honda Sensing suite, a multi-angle rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow. Those features do not guarantee trouble-free ownership, but they do reinforce the Odyssey’s reputation as a well-rounded minivan.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you may pay more upfront for a vehicle that is expected to stay in demand rather than one that is inexpensive to own.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a careful inspection of the cabin, sliding-door operation, infotainment features, and any family-use wear that could affect day-to-day ownership. Because this is a minivan, focus on how well the interior has been maintained rather than just the odometer reading.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda Odyssey?

Yes — this looks like a favorable time to shop if you want a used Odyssey, because the market shows a healthy mix of deal availability and inventory.

• Deal availability: 41.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,566 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 90.6% of listings are accident-free.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 41.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds useful tech updates and remains comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year experience and a strong used-market selection, the 2026 is the cleaner default choice. If your priority is stretching your budget, the 2025 is the better secondary path because it keeps the Odyssey’s core strengths while potentially opening up more room on price.
