New & Used 2026 Honda HR-V for Sale near Trout Run, PA

How much does the 2026 Honda HR-V cost?

Prices have softened 2.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,995 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda HR-V a good car?

The 2026 Honda HR-V earns an expert rating of 5.33/10.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 8/10.

That lines up with the HR-V’s straightforward appeal: it is simple, easy to use, and aimed at buyers who value comfort and usability over flash. The refresh also brings a larger, faster touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging, which helps the cabin feel more current.

The trade-offs are clear. The engine is underpowered, the fuel economy is poor, and the back seat is uncomfortable. It is best suited to you if you want an uncomplicated subcompact SUV with easy controls and strong safety credentials, not if you want quick acceleration or standout efficiency.

38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda HR-V reliable?

The 2026 Honda HR-V is presented as a straightforward, easy-to-live-with SUV, and its simple setup is part of its appeal. The powertrain is described as working hard, especially when you need to merge, pass, or climb grades, but the chassis tuning is praised for feeling lively in corners.

Honda also includes a wireless smartphone charger and a refreshed infotainment setup for 2026, which adds convenience without making the system complicated. The HR-V’s basic, uncomplicated character should help keep ownership stress low, but its weak performance and poor real-world fuel economy mean you may feel the strain more over time if you do a lot of highway driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda HR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering an AWD example or a higher-trim model with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the cabin electronics and driver-assistance features operate as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LX, Sport, and EX-L differ most in appearance and cabin equipment. The LX has cloth seats and the simplest audio setup, while the Sport adds more speakers and the EX-L brings leather upholstery, upgraded cabin detailing, and the most upscale interior presentation.
• Powertrain: Every HR-V uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a CVT. It is tuned for everyday use rather than strong acceleration, and the AWD setup is available if you want extra traction.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is reserved for the Sport and EX-L, while front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are exclusive to the EX-L.
• Infotainment: The standard touchscreen is 9 inches, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included. Every HR-V also gets a wireless smartphone charger, while the base LX has four speakers, the Sport has six, and the EX-L has eight.
• Fuel efficiency: The HR-V is rated at 28 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 27 mpg combined with AWD.

Which 2026 Honda HR-V trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda HR-V is offered in 3 trim levels: LX, Sport, and EX-L.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core HR-V experience with the refreshed 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, and standard Honda Sensing. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and do not need the extra convenience features.
• Sport: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and a better audio setup without jumping all the way to the top trim. If you want a more complete daily-driver package, this is the one to target.
• EX-L: This is the trim to choose if you want the most upscale cabin, with leather upholstery, the most speakers, and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking. It is the right pick if comfort and convenience matter more than price.

Honda Sensing is standard across the range, but blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not included on the LX.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda HR-V?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,995 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,369, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda HR-V's resale value?

The current average of $28,645 sits slightly below last year's $29,309.

That price movement suggests the HR-V has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect some depreciation pressure rather than a strong value hold in the near term.

Because the current average is still close to the year-round range, a clean, well-equipped example should remain reasonably marketable. If you buy carefully and keep mileage and condition in check, you should have a fair shot at a competitive resale later.

Is the 2026 Honda HR-V safe?

The 2026 Honda HR-V earns favorable ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is limited to the Sport and EX-L, and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are exclusive to the EX-L.

One caution is that the adaptive cruise control did not always react smoothly in testing, sometimes requiring driver intervention. That means you should treat the driver-assistance system as a helpful aid, not a substitute for attention.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda HR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.27% compared with last year.
• The 2026 refresh adds a larger, faster touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the HR-V with the updated infotainment setup and you value easy-to-use tech, the 2026 is the better pick. If your priority is simply getting the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2026 gives you the most current cabin and the same straightforward HR-V formula.
