CarGurus Analysis: 2026 Genesis GV80
Summary
With 1,151 currently listed for sale and an average price of $58,827, 40.0% of 2026 Genesis GV80 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2026 Genesis GV80 5 / 5 stars.
94.6% of 2026 Genesis GV80 listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2026 Genesis GV80 stands out as a luxury midsize SUV that was designed to give Genesis a true rival to established premium brands. Its appeal starts with the styling: the GV80 has an unusually sleek shape, and its cabin is meant to feel every bit as upscale as its exterior suggests. Inside, it features a stylish, beautifully crafted interior with a minimalist dashboard, top-notch materials, and details such as the knurled gear selector and rotary infotainment controller that reinforce the sense of craftsmanship. It also offers plush trim choices, including Nappa leather and matte wood inlays.
For 2026, the GV80’s lineup includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter V6, both paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2.5T can be had with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the 3.5T is AWD-only. The GV80 also brings a long list of available technology and comfort features, including heated and electrically adjustable front seats, an available Ergo Motion driver’s seat, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Road Active Noise Cancellation. Buyers looking at used examples should pay close attention to equipment levels, since many of the more desirable features are reserved for higher trims or options.
There are tradeoffs, though. The GV80 is not especially fuel-efficient, and some owners may find the front seats too firm. Even so, it remains appealing for shoppers who want a distinctive, well-finished luxury SUV that feels different from the usual choices and offers a strong mix of style, comfort, and advanced features.
