It also offers a straightforward lineup of gasoline powertrains paired with an eight-speed automatic, which can make the used-buying process easier to evaluate. You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim and options you want. Should I buy a 2026 Genesis GV80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds a refreshed interior and exterior with more upscale presentation.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest blend of satisfaction, clean inventory, and current-market deal availability, the 2026 is the better primary target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, the 2025 is worth a look because it still delivers the GV80’s upscale feel while potentially offering a lower entry point.
