Is the 2026 Genesis GV80 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Genesis GV80 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a luxury midsize SUV that aims to rival established premium nameplates. Its standout strengths are its sleek, distinctive styling and a stylish, beautifully crafted cabin with top-notch materials, plus a strong mix of equipment and technology. That makes it a good fit if you want a luxury SUV that feels special inside and out, with presence and features taking priority over efficiency. On the market side, 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

The 2026 GV80’s overview points to a well-finished luxury SUV with a broad set of standard safety aids and a strong equipment list, which can help ownership feel reassuring. Its appeal is rooted in design, materials, and features rather than mechanical simplicity, so you should expect a premium ownership experience with the usual attention to maintenance and trim-specific equipment.
