New & Used 2026 Ford F-150 for Sale nearVilas, CO

Is the 2026 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.5/5 user-rated truck with a 6.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

The 2026 Ford F-150 stands out for its sheer breadth of choice, with eight trims, three beds, three cabs, and six powertrains. That makes it easy to tailor the truck to work, family, or higher-performance use cases, and the overview also frames it as the bestselling truck in the United States with long-running appeal.

The trade-offs are clear: the naturally aspirated V8 is described as lazy, lower-priced versions lack basic amenities, and higher-priced versions are not as luxurious as Ram or GMC. Even so, the market signal is healthy, with 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Ford F-150 is presented as a long-running, mainstream full-size truck with broad configuration depth, which usually helps you find a version that fits your needs without overbuying. Its turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engines are described as more than adequate for moderate towing, and the truck’s overall setup is framed as competitive across many configurations.

Ford also says the truck’s powertrain warranty and lack of scheduled maintenance are average for the class. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about choosing the right configuration and condition than worrying about a single obvious weak point.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Ford F-150?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage truck or one with towing use. Focus on overall condition, equipment operation, and whether the truck’s trim and powertrain match how you plan to use it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims can feel sparse, while higher trims add more comfort and convenience, but the truck’s interior quality still trails the best Ram and GMC models at similar prices.
• Powertrain: The 2.7-liter turbo V6, 5.0-liter V8, 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, hybrid setup, and high-output Raptor engines each bring different strengths; the turbo V6s are the strongest all-around choice, while the naturally aspirated V8 is the weakest performer.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert, forward automatic emergency braking with intersection assist and pedestrian detection, evasive steering assist, lane-keep assist, a driver-attention monitor, rear parking sensors, and rear emergency braking. BlueCruise is optional on select trims, and some airbags are not available.
• Infotainment: A 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, a 4-inch instrument display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. BlueCruise is optional on select trims, and upper trims add larger audio systems and more tech features.
• Fuel efficiency: The Lobo test truck is rated at 17 mpg city, 22 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. The hybrid is noted for 23 mpg city.

Which 2026 Ford F-150 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Ford F-150 is offered in 8 trim levels: XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor, Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the most basic path into the lineup, but the content makes clear that lower-priced versions can feel short on amenities, so you should only choose it if price matters most and you’re comfortable keeping things simple.
• STX: This is the best-value starting point for many buyers because it adds more everyday appeal without pushing you into the pricier luxury trims, and it’s the trim used for the Lobo test vehicle.
• XLT: This is the trim to consider if you want a broader mix of equipment and access to more optional tech, including BlueCruise.
• Lariat: This is the step-up choice if you want more comfort and convenience features while staying below the luxury-focused upper trims.
• King Ranch: This trim leans upscale with richer interior treatment, more distinctive styling, and access to the strong 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6.
• Platinum: This is the more polished luxury-oriented choice, with upgraded interior presentation and the same strong twin-turbo V6 powertrain.
• Tremor: This is the better pick if you want a more rugged setup, with its own styling and off-road-oriented hardware.
• Raptor: This is the performance and off-road flagship, with lifted, widened hardware and the most extreme engine choices in the lineup.

Safety equipment is standard across all trims, while BlueCruise is optional only on XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum.
