New & Used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona for Sale nearBryan, TX

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona earns a 7.83/10 expert rating, and it makes the strongest case for itself as a four-door EV with dramatic style and everyday usability. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out for its retro-inspired design, strong performance, and added practicality versus the two-door coupe. The Charger Daytona is described as spacious, fun to drive, and capable of delivering a stunning amount of raw performance, which makes it appealing if you want an electric car with muscle-car presence and real-world usefulness.

The trade-offs are clear: poor visibility and cheap-feeling interior materials are the biggest knocks, and the touchscreen response is sluggish. The high price also pushes it into luxury-car territory, so you’re paying a premium for the look, speed, and character.

With 39.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona is presented as a modern electric muscle car with a straightforward AWD dual-motor setup and a large battery pack, which generally supports consistent day-to-day use. Its performance content also points to repeatable acceleration and stable handling thanks to the low-mounted battery and AWD traction.

Dodge also includes charging and EV-specific tools that help with ownership planning, including charging schedules and station-finding features. That makes it easier to manage home charging and longer trips without much guesswork.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you’re still buying a high-performance EV with expensive hardware, so battery condition, charging habits, and overall wear matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance EV with a premium price tag. Focus on cabin condition, touchscreen behavior, tire wear, brake condition, and whether the car has been charged and driven in a way that matches your ownership plans.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup is centered on Scat Pack, and the four-door body style preserves the car’s styling while adding practicality. The available Plus Group, Blacktop Package, Track Package, and Carbon & Suede Package can materially change the feel and equipment level, and the base setup leaves more of the cabin’s cheaper-looking finishes exposed.
• Powertrain: The Charger Daytona uses two 250-kilowatt electric motors, one front and one rear, for AWD. Output is 630 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, with 670 hp available via Power Shot. The AWD setup and low-mounted battery help it feel planted, but the front end can still scrabble for traction during hard acceleration.
• Safety package: Active Driving Assist is the named driver-assistance suite, and it uses adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Standard equipment also includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to the front, side, and rear. Surround-view cameras and a blind-spot camera are included only with the available Plus Group.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 16-inch digital instrument screen, and a head-up display. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and over-the-air capability are part of the setup, along with EV Pages and performance-focused tools.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 100.5 kWh, with 93.9 kWh usable. DC fast charging can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes on a 350-kW charger, while home charging on an 11-kW AC station takes 5.4 hours for the same charge window.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health carefully and ask how the car was typically charged. A used EV that spent most of its life on home charging may be easier on the battery than one that saw frequent DC fast charging. Also confirm how much of the battery warranty remains and review charging history if it’s available.

Which 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 1 trim level: Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

The Scat Pack is the trim to buy because it’s the only one in the lineup and it already delivers the Charger Daytona’s core appeal: huge power, AWD traction, and the full retro-muscle look. It also pairs best with the available Track Package if you want sharper handling and stronger brakes, while the Plus Group helps address some of the car’s safety and convenience gaps. If you want the most complete version of this EV muscle car, this is the one to target.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona safe?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona does not have crash-test ratings from NHTSA or IIHS listed here.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every Charger Daytona comes with Active Driving Assist, which uses adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Standard safety equipment also includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to the front, side, and rear.

The main safety caveat is that there’s no hands-free driving system, and surround-view cameras plus a blind-spot camera are reserved for the available Plus Group.

Should I buy a 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It adds a four-door body style that makes the Charger Daytona more practical without losing its dramatic performance character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The first all-electric Charger Daytona coupe emphasizes style and theater.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the most practical version of the Charger Daytona’s EV muscle-car formula, especially if you value the four-door layout and strong performance. If you’re more price-sensitive and can live with the earlier coupe’s focus, the 2025 remains the simpler path into the same basic personality.
