New & Used 2026 BMW 4 Series for Sale nearCoeur D Alene, ID

How much does the 2026 BMW 4 Series cost?

Prices have softened 6.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 840 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 BMW 4 Series a good car?

Yes — the 2026 BMW 4 Series earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a premium model that blends strong performance, a high-quality interior, and a long list of standard equipment, while also giving you a more distinctive design than the related sedan. If you want a used luxury coupe or convertible with a clear identity and everyday usability, this model year fits that brief well. 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 BMW 4 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes a familiar BMW formula underneath the styling, with shared mechanical and interior parts from the contemporary 3 Series and a well-established lineup of engines and equipment. That combination usually matters to used buyers because it points to a model that is not trying to reinvent the basics. For long-term ownership, your main risk is less about the concept and more about buying a premium car that may be expensive to keep in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 BMW 4 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm the car’s background and spot any hidden issues. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-priced trim or a car with more miles, because premium equipment can be costly to sort out later. Focus your condition check on the interior, electronics, and overall maintenance history so you know the car has been cared for properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 BMW 4 Series?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 840 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $54,170, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $54,170 sits slightly below last year's $57,903.

That price movement suggests the market has become a bit softer, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also mean future resale gains are limited if the trend continues. For a seller, the key takeaway is that pricing competitively will matter, especially if you want to stand out in a market with meaningful inventory. The model’s premium positioning and strong equipment list should still help it hold buyer interest better than a more ordinary used car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this generation with a strong satisfaction score and a market that still offers some deal potential, the 2026 is the primary choice. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby earlier year may make sense, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a meaningfully lower asking price.
