New & Used 2026 Acura Integra for Sale nearCarbondale, IL

Is the 2026 Acura Integra a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating and 6.83/10 expert rating point to a car that lands well with shoppers who want a practical, engaging compact with a liftback body. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The 2026 Integra is described as blending comfort, utility, and driving satisfaction in a five-door liftback body, and it gets subtle styling updates plus an improved standard infotainment system for this model year. It also stands out as Acura’s only car model, which gives it a clearer identity in a lineup dominated by crossovers.

The trade-offs are clear: all-wheel drive is not available, hybrid power is not offered, and the technology is described as outdated. Even so, if you want a practical car that still feels more engaging than the average commuter, the Integra fits that brief well.

Good and great deals account for 33.6% of listings, so there is at least some attractive inventory to shop.

Is the 2026 Acura Integra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Integra is presented as a quality-focused car that blends comfort, utility, and driving satisfaction, and its five-door liftback layout adds everyday usefulness. The expert evaluation also describes it as enjoyable to drive and notes that it exudes quality, which supports the case for a well-rounded ownership experience.

Its powertrain is described as lively and fun, and the manual-transmission setup is praised for its precise, short-throw action and smooth rev-matching. That kind of mechanical polish is a good sign for long-term confidence if you value a car that feels sorted rather than overcomplicated.

If you buy used, your main long-term risk is choosing a car whose condition or maintenance history doesn’t match its premium positioning.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Acura Integra?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with the manual transmission. Focus on overall condition, infotainment behavior, and how the car drives over rough pavement, since the Integra’s appeal depends heavily on its balance of comfort and engagement.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base car is the simplest version, while A-Spec models add a new exterior body kit with gloss-black detailing, black-painted 18-inch wheels, revised interior trim, and ambient lighting. The A-Spec with Technology adds even more cabin equipment, and the Type S is the performance-focused choice.
• Powertrain: Most versions use a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 200 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque, paired with a CVT by default. The A-Spec with Technology can be had with a six-speed manual and helical limited-slip front differential, while the Type S uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 320 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Every car comes with AcuraWatch, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, while the A-Spec Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
• Infotainment: All versions now get a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. The A-Spec with Technology adds SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, Alexa Built-in, AcuraLink connected services with Wi-Fi hotspot access, a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system, and a 5.3-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The evaluation loop returned 26.5 mpg, and the official estimate referenced in testing was 30 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Acura Integra trim should I buy?

The 2026 Acura Integra is offered in 4 trim levels: base, A-Spec, A-Spec with Technology, and Type S.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point if you want the Integra’s liftback practicality, standard AcuraWatch safety suite, and the new 9-inch touchscreen without paying for extra appearance or comfort upgrades.
• A-Spec: This is the better-looking choice if you want the new body kit, blacked-out exterior details, revised interior trim, and ambient lighting while staying below the more expensive tech-focused version.
• A-Spec with Technology: This is the best-value trim if you want the most complete everyday package, because it adds the manual transmission option, adaptive damping suspension, upgraded audio, head-up display, and extra connected-tech features.
• Type S: Choose this if you want the most serious performance, since it brings the 320-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and exclusive dynamic tuning.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while the A-Spec with Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

Is the 2026 Acura Integra safe?

The Acura Integra earns a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and it gets five-star ratings in every individual assessment, including rollover resistance. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gives the Integra a mix of “Good” and “Acceptable” ratings.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2026 Integra comes standard with AcuraWatch, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, while the A-Spec Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

One caveat is that the lane-centering assist system requires regular steering input reminders, and the lane-keeping assist system can be less reassuring in bright sun. The manual-transmission car also limits how the adaptive cruise control behaves in stop-and-go traffic.

Should I buy a 2026 Acura Integra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Subtle styling updates and an improved standard infotainment system help keep this year feeling current.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Integra with updated styling and a better standard infotainment setup, the 2026 is the one to target. If your priority is saving money, a nearby model year may still make sense, especially if you’re willing to give up some of the latest updates and shop more aggressively on price.
