How much does the 2025 Volvo XC60 cost?

With 2,397 listings available, you have a solid amount of inventory to compare across trims and conditions.

Is the 2025 Volvo XC60 a good car?

The 2025 Volvo XC60 stands out as a premium compact crossover that blends safety, efficiency, and a clean Scandinavian design. It is a five-passenger SUV with a luxury-oriented cabin and a straightforward, modern look that some buyers will see as timeless rather than flashy.

For 2025, the XC60 continues with fuel-efficient four-cylinder powertrains, including a plug-in hybrid, and it leans into Volvo’s recent focus on electrification and efficiency. Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights, and a nine-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while available features such as Nappa leather, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, air suspension, and Pilot Assist add to its upscale feel.

The tradeoffs are worth keeping in mind: acceleration and braking can feel jerky, and rear-seat legroom is tight. Even so, the XC60’s combination of safety, technology, and premium presentation makes it a compelling choice if you want a compact luxury SUV with a strong identity. 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Volvo XC60 reliable?

The 2025 Volvo XC60 stands out as a premium compact crossover that leans heavily on Volvo’s long-running strengths: safety, clean Scandinavian design, and a well-equipped cabin. Volvo’s emphasis on safety is a major part of its appeal, and the XC60 has built a reputation around standard safety tech and strong safety ratings.

It is also a five-passenger SUV with a luxury-oriented cabin and a straightforward, modern look that some buyers will see as timeless rather than flashy. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium SUV with available hybrid hardware and upscale features can become more expensive to keep in top shape if maintenance is deferred.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volvo XC60?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims about ownership, service, and accident history. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment that could be costly to repair. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and how smoothly the powertrain and brakes behave during a test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,397 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,057, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $42,764 sits slightly below last year's $43,680.

That decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, the current trend points to a model that is holding value reasonably well, but not so tightly that you should expect a premium resale windfall. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain the vehicle carefully, you should be in a better position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.10% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The new infotainment system adds a larger touchscreen and a more modern interface.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary pick if you want a strong mix of value, inventory depth, and a proven formula. If you are more focused on the newest cabin tech and can stretch for a newer model, the 2026 is the better secondary path; if price matters most, the 2025 gives you the more attractive shopping environment.
