How much does the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander cost?

Is the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander a good car?

The 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander stands out as a spacious, family-focused three-row SUV that prioritizes everyday usefulness over driving excitement. It offers extra practicality over the regular Highlander without the higher ownership costs and on-road compromises of a bigger rugged SUV, and Toyota emphasizes its “adult-sized” third row.

That makes it appealing if you want a roomy, comfortable people mover with SUV styling and a more manageable footprint than a full-size truck-based alternative. The available equipment is also generous, with features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a power liftgate, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and available upgrades like a JBL premium audio system, a panoramic roof, and a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor.

Market availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander reliable?

The 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander is described as a practical, comfortable, and efficient three-row SUV, but the overview also notes some reliability concerns. It is positioned as a family-focused model with a strong emphasis on utility and efficiency, which supports its appeal for everyday use.

At the same time, the guide flags concerns around reliability and mentions a recall affecting 2024 cars, so you should approach used examples with normal caution. For long-term ownership, that means your risk is less about the concept of the vehicle and more about finding one with a clean history and solid maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing has no accident or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you want to check for signs of wear, uneven panel gaps, or anything that suggests the vehicle has had a harder life than the listing implies.

Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and how well the tech and convenience features work, since those are the kinds of details that can separate a strong used example from an average one.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,276 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,982, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander's resale value?

The current average of $45,444 sits slightly below last year's $49,642.

That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to give used buyers more negotiating room today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well your vehicle stands out against the current supply.

If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. But if you pay near the top of the range, your upside is likely to be more limited unless the market tightens again.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.45% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $43,990, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,444 average.
• It offers strong space and efficiency with two hybrid powertrains.

The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a healthy pool of listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path because it undercuts the current-year average while keeping the Grand Highlander’s core strengths intact.
