Summary
With 9,657 currently listed for sale and an average price of $29,605.00, 32.0% of 2025 Toyota Camrys for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2025 Toyota Camry 4.89 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8 / 10.

Why it stands out
The 2025 Toyota Camry marks the start of the model’s ninth generation and arrives as a hybrid-only sedan. That alone makes it distinctive, especially for buyers who want a mainstream family car with a strong emphasis on efficiency. Toyota also gives it a new look, new features, and a new hybrid powertrain for 2025, helping the Camry reset its baseline as a high-selling midsize sedan.
Its appeal is rooted in the qualities that have long made the Camry a favorite among families: reliability, safety, and broad value. The 2025 model is described as competitively priced and fuel-efficient, and all-wheel drive is available on every trim. Those strengths make it easy to understand why it remains such a familiar choice for shoppers who want a practical sedan without giving up modern equipment.
There are a couple of drawbacks to keep in mind. The engine is noted as noisy, and the voice assistant can be finicky. Even so, the 2025 Toyota Camry’s combination of efficiency, updated tech, and no major deal-breaking flaws gives it a clear identity as a sensible, well-rounded sedan.

Good value for a new car considering used prices are a bit crazy right now. Ride is smooth , absorbs bumps and harsh roads are not a problem for this car. I average about 60 miles to and from work everyday and so far I average 52 mpg, most of it is highway miles too. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone.

Bought a 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid yesterday and it seems like a great car. I really like the idea that I can recharge the electric battery just by breaking and letting off of the accelerator. It has a lot of room and it was comparably priced with the Corolla.

2025 Toyota Camry Price Trends
CarGurus tracks the prices of millions of used car listings every year. See how the average price of 2025 Toyota Camry prices has changed over time.
See more price trendsHow much does the 2025 Toyota Camry cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $29,662 |
| Year-Round Low | $27,655.45 |
| Year-Round High | $31,426.40 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $31,428 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −5.62% |
Prices have softened 5.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 9,644 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.
If you find a listing below $27,655.45, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2025 Toyota Camry a good car?
Yes — the 4.89/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 8.00/10. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.
Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, exceptional fuel economy, and spacious interior. They also value its pricing relative to the used-car market.
The trade-offs are a noisy engine and a finicky voice assistant. For you, that means the Camry fits best if you want a practical family sedan with efficiency and everyday comfort at the center of the experience.
The market still shows healthy demand, with 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals.
Is the 2025 Toyota Camry reliable?
Owners rate it 4.89/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
Owner feedback points to reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience. The expert evaluation also emphasizes Toyota’s reputation for reliability and safety, along with a hybrid system that operates in the background and keeps the driving experience straightforward.
The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership friction.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core powertrain and more about finding a well-kept example with the features and condition you want.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Camry?
Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you are considering a higher-mileage car or one with incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs of heavy use inside the cabin.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The base LE trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels and fabric seating surfaces, while SE and XLE add black 18-inch wheels and XSE moves up to 19-inch wheels. The base trim also misses the sportier exterior touches found on SE and XSE.
- Powertrain: The 2025 Camry uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid system. Front-wheel-drive models make 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive models make 232 horsepower and are estimated at 50 mpg combined versus 51 for FWD.
- Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. The Premium Plus Package on XLE and XSE adds front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.
- Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and five USB ports. Higher trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital driver display, while XLE and XSE can add a 10-inch head-up display and JBL audio.
- Fuel efficiency: Toyota estimates 51 mpg combined for FWD models and 50 mpg combined for AWD models.
Which 2025 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?
The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, SE, XLE, XSE.
Here's the short version:
- Base trim: LE is the value play if you want the essentials, but it lacks the more upscale wheels and upholstery found higher up the range.
- Sweet-spot trim: SE is the best middle ground because it adds sportier styling cues and a more premium-feeling cabin without jumping to top-trim pricing.
- Premium/top trim: XSE is the most fully dressed option, with 19-inch wheels, perforated leather seats, and available two-tone paint.
- Safety-package trim: XLE and XSE are the trims that can add the Premium Plus Package, which brings the most advanced parking and traffic-assist features.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Camry?
This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.
- Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 9,644 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.62% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $27,655.45, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2025 Toyota Camry's resale value?
The current average of $29,662 sits slightly below last year's $31,428.
That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to resell later, a lower entry price can reduce the amount of value you need to recover. Strong demand for efficient, well-liked sedans should also help keep the Camry broadly marketable.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2025 Toyota Camry safe?
It earns a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS, and it also scored well in frontal crash and rollover resistance tests with the NHTSA.
It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. The available Premium Plus Package adds front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.
The lane-keeping assist system was described as firm but still easy to override, which is a good sign for everyday usability. The main caveat is that the model was too new at the time of evaluation to have completed independent crash testing.
Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.62% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- It debuts a new hybrid-only powertrain, updated styling, and more standard safety tech.
Consider the 2026 if:
- It adds a sporty Nightshade Edition trim and a new paint color.
The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign, the 2025 is the better path because it resets the Camry with a hybrid-only lineup, updated tech, and strong value. If you are price-sensitive and the 2026’s small updates matter less to you, waiting for a later listing or a better deal on the 2025 can still make sense.
