Used 2025 Toyota Camry for Sale nearCarbondale, IL

How much does the 2025 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 4.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,904 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used-car shoppers.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Camry earns a 4.9/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, exceptional fuel economy, and spacious interior. They also value its strong price-to-feature balance and its reputation for reliability. On the downside, some owners wish it had features like power folding mirrors and parking sensors.

That lines up with the Camry’s role as a practical family sedan: it is aimed at shoppers who want efficiency, value, and everyday comfort rather than flash. Even with a noisy engine and a finicky voice assistant, the overall package remains appealing for buyers who prioritize sensible ownership.

Good and great deals account for 33.7% of listings, which is a healthy share for shoppers comparing used options.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels reliable, dependable, and trouble-free over time. That matches the expert impression of a sedan built for long-term use, with a hybrid system that operates in the background and a driving experience that feels familiar and easy to live with.

Toyota also notes that the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core powertrain and more about finding a well-kept example with consistent maintenance and no hidden wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Camry?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a car with incomplete service documentation. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the tech and driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LE trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels and fabric seating surfaces, while SE adds black 18-inch wheels and SofTex synthetic leather upholstery. XSE brings 19-inch wheels and perforated leather seats, and it also adds sportier exterior touches. The base trim is the most basic in appearance and materials, so you should compare it carefully against the better-equipped trims if you want a more upscale feel.
• Powertrain: Every Camry is a hybrid, using a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors. Front-wheel-drive models make 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive models make 232 horsepower. Toyota says the electronic all-wheel-drive system adds traction with only a minimal impact on fuel economy.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. The available Premium Plus Package on XLE and XSE adds front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus wireless charging and five USB ports. Higher trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, while XLE and XSE can add a 10-inch head-up display and a nine-speaker JBL Premium Audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Toyota estimates 50 mpg combined for all-wheel-drive models and 51 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive models.

Which 2025 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, SE, XLE, XSE.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the value play if you want the Camry’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. You still get standard LED headlights, the 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. It is the trim to choose if you care most about efficiency, value, and keeping the purchase price down.
• SE: This trim adds a sportier look with black 18-inch wheels, sport-mesh grilles, front air ducts, rear diffusers, and exposed dual-tip exhausts. It also gets SofTex synthetic leather upholstery, so it is the best middle-ground choice if you want a more distinctive appearance without jumping to the top end.
• XLE: This is the comfort-leaning upgrade, with black 18-inch wheels, a more upscale interior, and access to the 12.3-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, head-up display, JBL audio, and the Premium Plus Package. It suits you best if you want the most refined daily-driver experience.
• XSE: This is the most expressive trim, combining the sportier exterior treatment with the richest available cabin materials, including perforated leather seats. It is the right pick if you want the most premium-feeling Camry and are willing to pay for it.

The Premium Plus Package is limited to XLE and XSE, so those trims are the ones to target if you want the fullest safety and convenience feature set.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,904 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,636, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $28,476 sits slightly below last year's $29,878.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the market stabilizes. If prices continue to normalize, a clean, well-equipped Camry should remain easier to move than many rivals because it still has broad shopper appeal.

The Camry’s strong reputation for efficiency, safety, and everyday practicality should help support demand when you eventually sell. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment and a clean history are likely to hold their appeal better than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2025 Camry is too new as of this writing to have completed crash testing with independent safety organizations.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it brings blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. The available Premium Plus Package adds front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.

The main caveat is that the latest model year has not yet completed independent crash testing, so you should lean on the standard safety equipment and Toyota’s track record while waiting for formal results.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It debuts a new hybrid-only powertrain, fresh styling, and updated tech for the model year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $32,251, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $28,476 average.
• It adds a sporty Nightshade Edition trim level and a new paint color.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2025 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with strong satisfaction and a fresh redesign. If you are willing to pay more for a slightly newer model year and a small styling update, the 2026 is the alternative to watch.
