That price movement suggests the model has softened a bit in the market, which can help you buy with less pressure today. If you keep the car clean and documented, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.93% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,880, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,327 average.
• It adds more driver excitement while staying practical.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year market and are comfortable paying a bit more for it. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path because it undercuts the current average while still delivering the Impreza’s core strengths.
