Used 2025 RAM 1500 for Sale nearLas Vegas, NV

How much does the 2025 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 8.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,838 listings available, which suggests solid inventory availability.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — the 2025 RAM 1500 earns a 4/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its sharp looks, smooth ride, and powerful engine options, and they also highlight the quality and finish of the truck. In use, that lines up with a cabin that feels premium and spacious, plus a model-year update that adds lots of new tech and a hands-free driver-assistance system. The main trade-offs are that some shoppers may find the price steep and the touchscreen features could be better, while advanced safety features are not standard. With its broad appeal as a full-size truck that mixes comfort, capability, and upscale touches, it should fit you well if you want a more refined pickup rather than a bare-bones work truck. Good and great deals account for 36.0% of listings, so there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as dependable in the sense that it delivers a smooth ride, strong engine options, and a quality feel that inspires confidence over time. The updated powertrain lineup is also presented as more efficient, and the truck’s smooth-shifting automatic transmission and well-suited steering weight support an easygoing ownership experience. Ram also notes that the new engine architecture should translate to better MPGs, even during trailer towing, and the available hands-free system adds modern convenience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-end features and advanced driver aids may depend heavily on trim and equipment level, so condition and configuration matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 1500?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the truck’s equipment matches the trim you’re considering, especially because some desirable safety and tech features are not standard. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the cabin electronics, infotainment operation, and any signs of heavy use if you’re shopping a higher-trim truck. Pay close attention to condition, because the model’s premium materials and upscale features are a big part of what you’re paying for.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes a base Tradesman with an 8.4-inch screen, while higher trims add more premium materials, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, and features like the walk-up animation on Tungsten and Limited. Base-trim buyers should expect fewer luxury touches and less of the high-end presentation that defines the upper trims.
• Powertrain: The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 carries over as the base engine, while the lineup also adds new 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six options with 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft in standard form, or 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft in high-output form. Ram says the newer engine architecture should deliver better MPGs, even during towing.
• Safety package: The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system works on approved roadways and can change speeds, maintain distance, and keep the truck centered in its lane. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, but blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are not standard.
• Infotainment: An 8.4-inch flush screen is standard even on the base Tradesman, a 12-inch screen is available, and every model tested had the 14.5-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 5. The available 10.25-inch passenger screen, wireless charging, and digital displays add to the tech-heavy feel.
• Fuel efficiency: Ram says the new engine architecture should translate to better MPGs, even during trailer towing.

Which 2025 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2025 RAM 1500 is offered in 5 trim levels: Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, Tungsten.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core truck experience with the standard 8.4-inch screen and the new powertrain direction for 2025. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the luxury and tech extras that define the higher trims.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it unlocks the 10.25-inch passenger screen and starts moving the truck into a more upscale, tech-rich space. If you want a strong balance of comfort, features, and price, this is the trim to focus on.
• Rebel: Choose this if you want the truck’s more rugged personality and the off-road capability that stands out in the lineup. It’s the trim for buyers who care more about trail-ready character than luxury polish.
• Limited: This trim leans hard into premium comfort and adds features like the walk-up animation, making it a strong pick if you want a near-luxury truck without going all the way to the top.
• Tungsten: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest materials, the most distinctive interior treatment, and the most fully loaded presentation. Buy this if you want the flagship experience and are willing to pay for it.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check equipment carefully on any trim you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,838 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,660, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $42,660 sits slightly below last year's $46,607.

That softer pricing suggests the truck is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you if you’re shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment, since well-equipped trucks tend to stand out more in a crowded market. If the model continues to hold owner satisfaction and strong demand for premium trims, that should help support values over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2025 RAM 1500 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system works on approved roadways and can change speeds, maintain a safe distance, and keep the truck centered in its lane without driver intervention. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, and Ram says the cameras can detect a cyclist or motorcycle in the blind spot. That said, blind-spot monitoring is not standard, and the same is true of adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera. Advanced safety features are not standard, so you should verify the exact equipment on any used example you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 update adds a hands-free driver-assistance system and new powertrain options.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $50,980, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $42,660 average.
• The Hemi V8 returns with a Symbol of Protest badge.

The bottom line: If you want the better value and the newer tech update, the 2025 is the smarter buy. If you specifically want the returning Hemi V8 character and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the one to cross-shop.
