Used 2025 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearDubuque, IA

How much does the 2025 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 18.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,928 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Nissan Rogue earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

It’s positioned as a practical five-passenger compact SUV with an upscale interior, a comfortable ride, and good fuel economy. The 2025 update adds Rock Creek trim appeal for shoppers who want a more adventurous look, and Nissan’s ProPilot Assist 2.1 highway driving assist is newly available.

The trade-offs are clear: modest acceleration and passing power can leave you wanting more, and upper trims are less of a value. Some rivals are also sportier and more fun to drive.

Good and great deals account for 37.1% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue is described as a well-rounded compact SUV with steady updates over the years, and its drivetrain is presented as smooth and refined in everyday use. The turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder provides decent grunt for routine driving, and the CVT is noted for staying smooth and fading into the background during the drive.

The model’s fuel-friendly setup also supports ownership confidence, especially if you value easygoing daily use over outright performance. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the modest powertrain may feel strained if you regularly want stronger acceleration or frequent passing power.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, confirm maintenance history, and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re considering a higher-mileage example. Pay close attention to trim-specific equipment, because the Rogue’s value changes a lot depending on how much comfort, tech, and driver-assistance content you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Rogue is offered in five trims: the base S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and range-topping Platinum. The SV stands out as the volume model because it adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, keyless entry, remote start, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate. The base S is more basic, while upper trims add more luxury and tech.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on most trims, with Rock Creek getting it as standard equipment. The setup is smooth and efficient, but it does not deliver strong acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available upgrades include ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1, a surround-view parking camera system, traffic-sign recognition, and a head-up instrument display.
• Infotainment: Entry-level S and SV trims use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in, satellite radio, and Amazon Alexa.
• Fuel efficiency: The Rogue is rated at 33 mpg combined in front-wheel-drive form, 31 mpg combined with all-wheel drive, and 29 mpg combined in Rock Creek trim.

Which 2025 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it’s mainly for shoppers who want the lowest starting price and are comfortable giving up a lot of the convenience and tech upgrades found higher up the range.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it adds a strong mix of everyday convenience features, including remote start, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate, without pushing into luxury-trim pricing.
• Rock Creek: Choose this if you want the Rogue’s more adventurous personality. It adds all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, a tubular roof rack, a surround-view camera system, hill-descent control, and unique exterior and interior details.
• SL: This trim is the step up for shoppers who want more tech and comfort, including the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and Google built-in.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious Rogue, with semi-aniline leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, with standard driver-assistance features already well covered before you move into optional upgrades.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,928 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.5% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2025 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $22,765 sits slightly below last year's $27,863.

That price drop suggests the Rogue has become more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale upside may be more limited than it was a year ago, especially if the market continues to favor buyers.

Even so, the Rogue’s broad appeal, practical layout, and strong feature content should help it remain easy to shop in the used market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds Rock Creek trim appeal and newly available ProPilot Assist 2.1.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $20,694, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $22,765 average.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the latest updates, the strongest shopping conditions, and the added appeal of Rock Creek and ProPilot Assist 2.1. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play and still delivers the Rogue’s core strengths.
