How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE cost?

There are 673 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE earns an 8.2/10 expert rating and is positioned as a stylish in-betweener that replaces both the C- and E-Class coupes and convertibles. It offers four seats, strong acceleration, luxury features, and a design meant to feel special, which makes it a compelling choice if you want a premium coupe or convertible with a strong sense of occasion.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Its strengths are clear: multiple powertrain options, stylish design, and impressive technology. The trade-offs are just as important: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and advanced safety features are not standard.

If you want a premium two-door that feels more special than practical, the CLE fits that brief well. 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE is presented as a refined, well-equipped luxury coupe and convertible with solid performance and a strong technology suite. Its powertrain lineup includes a mild-hybrid setup, and the expert evaluation highlights smooth power delivery and a transmission that shifts quickly and cleanly.

The performance notes also point to a well-sorted driving experience, especially in the higher-output versions, with nimble handling and confident road manners. On the ownership side, you get a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty plus complimentary roadside assistance, which helps support peace of mind early in ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium two-door like this can become expensive to keep up if you want to maintain its luxury features and performance feel.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s equipment matches the listing, especially if you’re comparing trims or body styles. A pre-purchase inspection is smart here because the CLE is a premium model with a lot of tech and available options, and you’ll want to confirm that everything works as intended. Pay close attention to cabin condition, wheel and tire wear, and any signs that the car has been used hard or neglected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLE is available in 300, 450 or AMG CLE 53 trims in either hardtop or convertible body styles, with standard 4Matic all-wheel drive. Lower trim levels use MB-Tex synthetic leather, while the cabin design, ambient lighting, and seat treatment help the car feel upscale even before you move up the lineup.
• Powertrain: The 300 trim uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 horsepower, the 450 steps up to a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 375 horsepower, and the AMG CLE 53 raises output to 433 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. All CLE models use a mild-hybrid system and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
• Safety package: The standard driver-assistance setup includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. Lane-keep assist, speed-limit monitoring, evasive steering assist, and emergency stop assist are part of the Driver Assistance Package, which costs $1,950.
• Infotainment: Every CLE gets a 12.3-inch reconfigurable gauge cluster and an 11.9-inch center touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the optional augmented-reality navigation system adds front-camera overlays for directions.
• Fuel efficiency: The hardtop with the smaller 2.0-liter engine returns 27 mpg combined, while the AMG convertible is rated at 22 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE is offered in 3 trim levels: 300, 450, AMG CLE 53.

Here's the short version:

• 300: This is the entry point and the best-value trim if you want the CLE experience without chasing the highest output. You still get the stylish design, strong tech, and the standard mild-hybrid 2.0-liter turbo four, so it covers the core appeal well.
• 450: This trim is the step-up choice if you want more power and a stronger grand-touring feel. The 3.0-liter turbo inline-six gives you a meaningful performance bump while keeping the CLE’s luxury-first character intact.
• AMG CLE 53: This is the performance-focused choice, with the most power, the quickest acceleration, and the most adjustable driving character. It also adds the most aggressive hardware and settings, so it suits you best if driving enjoyment matters more than price.

The standard safety setup is modest, so if you want the fuller driver-assistance suite, look for a car equipped with the Driver Assistance Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 673 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $62,763, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE's resale value?

The current average of $63,397 sits slightly below last year's $65,452.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it suggests the CLE is not currently appreciating in the used market, so resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and properly optioned, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell. But because the market has softened, you should not expect a strong short-term upside if you buy at the wrong price.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE safe?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE does not have published crash-test ratings from NHTSA or IIHS in the available data.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. If you want more advanced assistance, the Driver Assistance Package adds lane-keep assist, speed-limit monitoring, evasive steering assist, emergency stop assist, automatic lane changes, active steering, and stop-and-go adaptive cruise control.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should prioritize a car equipped with the Driver Assistance Package if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.14% compared with last year.
• It adds strong acceleration, luxury features, and a special-feeling design.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $55,956, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $63,397 average.
• It offers strong comfort, technology, and refinement.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It emphasizes a more rationalized premium coupe-and-convertible formula with strong all-around performance.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest used-market mix of style, tech, and availability, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to compare the next iteration of the formula.
