You should still check the history report carefully, since accident-free status is only one part of the picture. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,834 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $24,009 sits slightly below last year's $27,259.

That price movement suggests the CX-30 has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect value when it’s time to sell. The model’s upscale image and broad appeal should still support demand, especially for clean examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,102, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,009 average.
• It adds new trims and tech while keeping standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds new trim options and upgrades that improve the cabin and driving experience.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play, especially if you want to spend less while staying in the CX-30 family.

How does the 2025 Mazda CX-30 compare to the 2025 Honda HR-V?

The CX-30 gives you more power and a lower average used price, while the HR-V offers more listings and a slightly broader shopping pool.
