Is the 2025 Lexus NX a good car?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for its distinctive styling, luxury feel, and strong reputation for reliability. It also gives you a broad range of powertrains, including hybrid options, so you can prioritize efficiency or a more traditional setup depending on your needs.

It is especially appealing if you value a premium cabin and available upscale equipment, since even the base model includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. At the same time, it is not the most rewarding SUV to drive, and many desirable features are still bundled into option packs rather than included as standard.

With 41.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you a decent chance to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2025 Lexus NX reliable?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for its strong reputation for reliability, which is one of the main reasons shoppers keep coming back to it. It blends that dependable image with a premium cabin and a broad powertrain lineup, including hybrid choices that fit different priorities.

For used buyers, that reliability story can help reduce long-term ownership risk, especially if you choose a well-maintained example with a clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Put inspection priority on condition, maintenance records, and any signs of prior damage or uneven wear, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment.

If you find a listing below $43,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $43,122 sits slightly below last year's $44,271.

That price movement suggests the NX has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you keep the NX clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you should be in a stronger position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.59% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• Hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions are priced more affordably.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary pick if you want a strong mix of value, inventory, and a dependable ownership case. If you are especially price-sensitive and want to focus on electrified versions, the 2026 is worth a look as a secondary path.
