Is the 2025 Lexus NX a good car?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for its distinctive styling, luxury feel, and strong reputation for reliability. It also gives you a broad range of powertrains, including hybrid options, so you can prioritize efficiency or a more traditional gasoline setup depending on your needs. At the same time, it is not the most rewarding SUV to drive, and many desirable features are still bundled into option packs rather than included as standard.

For you, that means the NX makes the most sense if you value a premium cabin, available hybrid efficiency, and a conservative ownership case more than driving excitement or maximum practicality. 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Lexus NX reliable?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for its strong reputation for reliability and its emphasis on a conservative ownership case. It blends dependable character with a premium cabin and available hybrid efficiency, which makes it appealing if you want a luxury SUV that should be easier to live with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the NX’s core reliability story and more about choosing the right configuration and condition, since desirable equipment is often tied to option packs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re seriously considering, especially if the price looks unusually strong. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection and pay close attention to condition, equipment content, and whether the features you want are actually included on the specific vehicle. Because many desirable items are packaged rather than standard, it’s worth verifying the exact build before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,957 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,780, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $42,780 sits slightly below last year's $44,288.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently today, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward from where it was a year ago. If you plan to resell later, the NX’s strong brand reputation and reliability image should help support demand, but your eventual return will still depend heavily on mileage, condition, and equipment. A well-kept example with the right options should hold up better than one that is poorly maintained or lightly equipped.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.40% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• Lexus made the hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions more affordable.

The bottom line: The 2025 is a smart pick if you want a strong reliability story, a premium feel, and a market with decent deal availability. If you’re especially price-sensitive and want the latest lineup changes, the 2026 is worth a look, but the 2025 remains the better value target for many shoppers.
