Is the 2025 Kia Niro EV a good car?
The 2025 Kia Niro EV lands in a moderate market position based on CarGurus’ expert market verdict, so it looks like a sensible option if you want an electric crossover with a balanced buying environment. With 37.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example without having to wait for a rare bargain.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Niro EV?

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing details. Prioritize a careful inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas can matter most on a used EV. If possible, focus on examples with consistent maintenance records and a clean ownership history.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Niro EV?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but still benefit from comparing listings carefully.
- Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 283 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 92.9% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Kia Niro EV or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
The bottom line: The 2025 is a strong choice if you want a used Niro EV with a healthy share of deal-priced listings and a high proportion of accident-free inventory. If you’re more price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby model years and choose the one that gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
