Used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale nearDes Moines, IA

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S cost?

Prices have softened 27.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 208 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is a mixed proposition: it has some appealing strengths, but the overall package is held back by notable flaws. It earns a 1/5 user rating and a 5/10 expert rating, and the model scores 6/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Jeep’s first all-electric vehicle is described as having quick acceleration and an impressive stereo, and its conservative SUV styling may appeal if you want an EV that does not look overly futuristic. But the ride quality is poor, the electric range is unimpressive, and technical glitches make the experience feel unfinished.

Cons: Poor ride quality, unimpressive electric range, and numerous technical glitches are the main drawbacks.

For shoppers who want a familiar-looking electric SUV with strong straight-line performance, it has a few hooks. But if you want a polished EV that feels fully sorted, the market offers stronger alternatives.

Only 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than broadly bargain-heavy.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S raises reliability concerns because the review describes numerous technical glitches and a generally unfinished feel. The infotainment system can be slow to respond, and some settings screens may not react properly.

The performance notes also point to awkward low-speed behavior, including sensitive accelerator response and clunky one-pedal driving behavior. The review also says the vehicle seems as though it was put into production without thorough testing and evaluation.

If you buy one used, long-term ownership risk looks higher than average because the vehicle’s software and control behavior already show signs of inconsistency.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially to check for software glitches, brake feel, and low-speed drivability. Pay close attention to how the infotainment system responds, whether the safety systems behave smoothly, and whether the ride quality feels acceptable on rough pavement.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Limited trim is the more affordable entry point, while the Launch Edition adds more output and a quicker 0-60 mph time. The Limited is the better value if you want the core EV experience without paying for extra performance.
• Powertrain: Both trims use two electric motors and all-wheel drive. The Limited makes 500 horsepower and 624 pound-feet of torque, while the Launch Edition makes 600 horsepower and 617 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a smaller climate touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and over-the-air capability is not mentioned.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 100 kWh, estimated range is 294 miles, and DC fast charging can reach 203 kW for a 10% to 80% charge in about 23 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm typical charging habits, and review how much battery warranty coverage remains.

Which 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is offered in 2 trim levels: Limited and Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Limited: This is the better-value choice if you want the Wagoneer S experience at the lower starting price. It still gives you dual-motor AWD, strong output, and the full standard safety and tech package.
• Launch Edition: Choose this if you want the extra performance and quicker acceleration. It is the more expensive option, so it makes the most sense if straight-line speed matters most to you.

The standard safety package is shared across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find opportunities if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 208 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,764, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S's resale value?

The current average of $34,764 sits slightly below last year's $47,792.

That drop suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, though, it also means resale value may remain under pressure if the market continues to view the Wagoneer S as a niche EV with uneven execution.

If you plan to own it for a while, the current pricing may be more attractive than the eventual resale outlook. If you expect to trade it quickly, you should be realistic about how much value it may lose from here.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S has not yet received published crash test results from NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system that combines cruise control and lane-keep assist.

The review also flags a serious caveat: the adaptive cruise control can brake too early and too hard in slowing traffic, and the system can trigger false alerts without clear visual explanations. That makes the safety tech feel less reassuring than the feature list suggests.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.26% compared with last year.
• Jeep’s first all-electric model brings quick acceleration and an impressive stereo, but the overall package is still uneven.

Consider the 2024 if:

• The 2024 offers stronger range and a more ambitious first-year EV launch.

The bottom line: If you want the newer-year market conditions and are willing to accept the Wagoneer S’s flaws, the 2025 is the one to watch. If your priority is value and you want to compare against a year with stronger range and a more convincing first impression, the 2024 is worth a look.
