How much does the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 13.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,632 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5. The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee blends mainstream usability with the capability that defines the nameplate, so you can shop it as an everyday family SUV without giving up the off-road hardware and available four-wheel-drive systems that keep it true to Jeep’s image. It also gives you a wide spread of trims, from value-oriented to premium, so you can match the vehicle more closely to your priorities and budget. The market currently shows 37.0% good or great deals, which adds to its appeal if you want a strong value proposition.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee’s straightforward powertrain lineup centers on the standard V6, and the model’s broad trim range gives you flexibility without adding unnecessary complexity to the core setup. Its emphasis on mainstream usability and available capability also points to a vehicle designed to handle daily use as well as more demanding driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t been used hard off-road.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report so you can confirm the vehicle’s background and spot any prior damage or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the drivetrain, suspension, and four-wheel-drive hardware, especially if the SUV may have seen rough roads or trail use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the premium feel and capability you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,632 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,046, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $35,046 sits slightly below last year's $40,421.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you plan to keep the SUV for several years. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the Grand Cherokee’s mix of capability and everyday usability remains a strong selling point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• A new turbocharged four-cylinder and updated cabin tech modernize the SUV.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the stronger value opportunity and a broad pool of used listings to compare. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer refresh and updated tech, the 2026 is the better secondary path; if price matters most, the 2025 is the smarter buy.
