How much does the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 13.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,654 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong shopper satisfaction. It blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, mainstream-friendly feel, and it offers a wide range of trims from basic entry models to more luxurious versions. You also get multiple four-wheel-drive setups, including systems with a low range and an available height-adjustable air suspension, so it fits both everyday driving and trail-focused use. The market also shows 36.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee is described as a vehicle that is still relatively new, with modern technology and a premium cabin available on higher trims. Its straightforward V6 powertrain lineup also keeps the mechanical picture simpler than some earlier versions of the same generation. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about choosing a well-kept example with the right equipment than worrying about a complicated model mix.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the clean-title share is high. Put inspection priority on condition, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment to evaluate. Focus on how the vehicle was used and maintained, since the best used purchase is usually the one that shows the least wear relative to its trim and mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,654 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,148, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $35,148 sits slightly below last year's $40,529.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, trim desirability, and how well the vehicle is presented when it’s time to list it. If you buy carefully now, you’re more likely to preserve value later by starting from a stronger purchase price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• A refreshed turbo-four engine and updated cabin tech make it feel more modern.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2025 if you want a proven version with strong satisfaction and better pricing leverage. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2025 is the smarter path; if you want the newest updates and can pay more, the 2026 is worth a look.
