Used 2025 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearElmira, NY

How much does the 2025 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 14.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,320 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Jeep Gladiator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Gladiator stands out because it blends pickup-truck utility with open-air driving and serious off-road ability. That makes it a strong fit if you want something different from a conventional midsize truck and value the removable top and doors as part of the ownership experience.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, towing and payload are less competitive than some rivals, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, the market still shows 38.0% good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Gladiator’s appeal is tied to its rugged, purpose-built character, and the expert evaluation reinforces that it is designed around capability rather than refinement. The powertrain is straightforward, with a single V6 and standard 4WD, which can be a plus if you want a simpler setup.

Jeep also includes complimentary scheduled maintenance during the first two years of ownership, which helps soften early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the truck’s specialized hardware and off-road focus can make condition and maintenance history especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used off-road or modified. Focus on the condition of the roof, doors, suspension, tires, and underbody, since the Gladiator’s appeal often depends on how well those parts have been treated.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport trim is the most basic, while the Nighthawk, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, Mojave, Mojave X, Rubicon X, High Tide, and Big Bear each add different equipment or character. The base trim’s feature set is thinner, and the more expensive versions add comfort, convenience, and capability features that can matter a lot in daily use.
• Powertrain: You get a single 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard 4WD. The setup is simple, but the truck’s fuel economy is poor.
• Safety package: Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control with full-stop capability start with the Sport S. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is unavailable on the Sport and Nighthawk, and it is extra-cost on most other trims except the Mojave X and Rubicon X.
• Infotainment: Every Gladiator has a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and eight speakers. Navigation adds Jeep Connect services, a WiFi hotspot, Alexa Built-in, and integrated Off-Road Trail Guides.
• Fuel efficiency: The Gladiator is rated at 19 mpg combined, and the test truck returned 16.2 mpg over nearly 275 miles.

Which 2025 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 10 trim levels: Sport, Nighthawk, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, Mojave, Mojave X, Rubicon X, High Tide, and Big Bear.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it’s the trim to consider if you want the lowest starting price and the core Gladiator experience. It also gets standard power windows and door locks this year, but it remains the most stripped-down choice.
• Nighthawk: This trim adds a more value-focused mix of equipment while staying below the more specialized off-road and luxury-oriented versions. It makes sense if you want a step up from the base truck without chasing the highest-priced models.
• Sport S: This is the trim where key driver-assistance features begin, including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control with full-stop capability. It’s the best-value choice if safety tech matters to you.
• Willys: This trim leans into the rugged side of the Gladiator lineup and is a good fit if you want more off-road character without jumping all the way to the top-end models.
• Rubicon: This is the more serious off-road choice in the lineup, aimed at buyers who want the Gladiator’s capability front and center.
• Mojave: This is the desert-runner version of the lineup and suits you if you want the most specialized off-road tuning in the range.
• Mojave X: This is the most fully equipped version described here, with leather seats, heated power front seats, a heated steering wheel, upgraded interior materials, expanded infotainment features, and a premium sound system. It’s the best fit if you want the richest feature set.
• Rubicon X: This trim adds leather seats and plenty of standard equipment, making it the upscale off-road choice.
• High Tide: This special edition adds another distinct flavor to the lineup and broadens the Gladiator’s appeal if you want something less common.
• Big Bear: This California-only special edition gives you another unique option if you want a more distinctive Gladiator.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is unavailable on the Sport and Nighthawk, and it is extra-cost on every other trim except the Mojave X and Rubicon X.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,320 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,232, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $40,232 sits slightly below last year's $47,217.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re a future seller, the current softness means condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter even more when it’s time to list.

The Gladiator’s unique open-air appeal and strong owner satisfaction can still support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA and a three-star rollover resistance rating, and the IIHS gives it a Good rating in side-impact testing.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The Gladiator includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control with full-stop capability starting with the Sport S. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is unavailable on the Sport and Nighthawk, and it is extra-cost on most other trims except the Mojave X and Rubicon X.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, and the truck’s safety performance trails stronger rivals. That makes trim selection especially important if safety tech is a priority for you.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model adds special-edition trims and new paint colors while keeping the Gladiator’s open-air formula intact.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,411, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $40,232 average.
• It brings minor styling revisions, next-generation infotainment technology, and added comfort and convenience features.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest used Gladiator with the latest updates and the strongest current market data, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is saving money and you still want the Gladiator’s open-air personality and rugged capability, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
