Used 2025 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 16.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,316 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns 5/5 from users and 9/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It fits the role of a family-focused three-row SUV especially well, with a spacious cabin, thoughtful packaging, and an upscale feel that helps it stand out in the midsize segment. The current model year also benefits from continued improvements in styling, technology, and overall presentation, even as it reaches the end of its generation.

45.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Palisade’s reliability case is helped by its well-rounded execution and the fact that it has aged remarkably well. Its powertrain is described as smooth and refined, and the SUV’s overall driving behavior still feels current enough to hold up against newer rivals. Hyundai also backs it with a long warranty and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, which adds peace of mind for ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that an outgoing-generation SUV can show its age in tech and ride tuning, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping higher-mileage examples or a trim with more equipment. Focus on interior condition, electronics, and how well the driver-assistance and infotainment features operate, since those are central to the Palisade’s appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE already has a clean, modern, uplevel look and feel, while higher trims add premium leather, artificial suede, seat piping, metal speaker grilles, and other luxury cues. The Palisade also includes thoughtful family-friendly details such as rear-seat USB charging ports, second-row smartphone storage pockets, and easy-to-reach drink holders.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It’s smooth and refined, but it is not especially fuel-efficient.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The SEL adds an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, the XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, the SEL Premium adds Blind Spot View Monitor plus evasive steering assist and lane-change assist functions, and the Calligraphy adds automatic braking when parking and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
• Infotainment: The Palisade uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, and the system also includes two-device Bluetooth support, wireless smartphone charging, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluelink+ connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: The Palisade averages 22 mpg in combined driving, or 21 mpg with AWD.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 7 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it still delivers the Palisade’s upscale design, roomy three-row packaging, and thoughtful family-friendly details. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• SEL: This trim adds an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, making it a smart step up if you want more everyday safety convenience.
• XRT: The XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, so it suits you if parking visibility matters and you want a little more equipment without jumping too far up the range.
• SEL Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, and lane-change assist functions.
• Limited: The Limited does not improve on the SEL Premium, so it is mainly for shoppers comparing equipment and pricing carefully.
• Calligraphy: This trim adds automatic braking when parking and Remote Smart Parking Assist, and it brings the most luxurious presentation in the lineup.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: This version builds on the Calligraphy’s upscale character with a darker appearance theme.

The Palisade’s safety package is broad across the lineup, but the SEL Premium stands out for its added blind-spot and lane-change technology.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, with meaningful deal availability and strong inventory.

• Deal availability: 45.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,316 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,236, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $35,236 sits slightly below last year's $42,216.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, the current softness means resale value may depend more heavily on trim, condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the Palisade still has strong appeal as a family-oriented three-row SUV, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS through 2024, but a Poor result in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test kept it from repeating that honor in 2025. It earns five-star frontal impact ratings and four-star rollover resistance ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The HDA system combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist to create a hands-on highway aid.

One caveat is that the lane-keeping assist system was not especially well liked in typical driving, even though Highway Driving Assist worked exceptionally well in testing. The 2025 crash-test shortcoming is also worth keeping in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 45.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds more standard equipment to the XRT and makes SEL Premium a trim level.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,011, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $35,236 average.
• It offers a distinctive design with upscale materials and thoughtful amenities.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It is a redesigned three-row SUV with more style, comfort, and space.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the outgoing Palisade at a softened price with strong inventory and broad appeal. If you’re mainly chasing the lowest purchase price, the 2024 is the better value play; if you want the newest version, the 2026 is the upgrade path.
